I'm kinda getting that also max
I looked at 750m shares £450m profit 10% divi. current price around 430. So a divi of 1.4%.
Could kd be completely wrong, I'm s@#£ at numbers lol
Hope so Andoman... I read last night Xmas is 10 weeks away, if your correct it's arrived early.
Frustrating as it is Andoman with the recent drop (which considering the explosion from 12 to 29p was quite likely to happen)... I'm with you in that watching all the various presentations etc etc and the time line of events I'm non concerned.
Seen it lots of times before with the O&G sector, the main differences here is that orca exist in a stable environment free from much of the turmoil and uncertainty that exists in other parts of the world, and that we have proper 2p reserves to take a lot of that gamble from any operating partner. Without doubt this will bounce back to previous highs at some point. And quickly when it does.
Yup, I'll give you that anaw lol
Aw that and still krankie failed miserably...lucky for orca and all other north sea oil & gas stocks that both rishi and keir are not mugs.
That would not be a surprise, but there's no need... Krankies motor home, male rapists in female prison, the unaccounted for 600k, the ferry fiasco etc etc. The SNP are thankfully finished in Scotland as was witnessed at the recent Hamilton & Rutherglen bi election. Labour are no daft enough to commit to a total ban on all north sea oil / gas activity because they no they need the revenue if they return to power. Easier just to say current licences etc will be honoured, then once in power business as usual after further energy security revue. All good news for ORCA.
Posted early in error. What I was going to continue with is that if the nsta approve our fdp etc etc, and we can develop the other fields with a similar deal as the pilot one then there's a lot of share price growth that for sure
Certainly hope so Andoman, £5 a long long way yet... but if the deals get signed for pilot, approval from the nsta for all our
Probably stuck in the middle of nowhere due to easyjet cancellation somewhere and without an Internet signal no doubt lol
1m...you'll be getting invited to the Christmas party lol
Having spent the last 2 days watching and reading through every orca presentation / media appearance, although getting back in higher than I'd have like I'm convinced this is indeed "only the beginning"
When listening to the nav that pilot alone is valued at by the ceo being confirmed by WH Irelands numbers, if you then add in Elke, Narwhal and the potential for more licences from the 33rd round then there's lots to look forward to which you'd think would help support continued share price growth.
Fingers crossed that everything at pilot goes to plan, and the operator also becomes involved with Elke and Narwhal on a similar type agreement on costs. Like Steve says, that's a fantastic deal they have secured.
Cheers bonzo, that ties in with what I had taken from the video I watched.. Comforting to know.
Just watching some various orcadian presentations from the last wee while to refresh my understanding and remind myself of what's what.
There's an interview with proactive investors from 2 years ago where the ceo states that the management team own about 2/3rds of the total shares... Anyone like to confirm that is the case, does not leave a lot "floating" around if so. During the interview Steve sounded determined that they would be holding on to theirs
That would be nice
Just offered 26000 on a dummy buy at 26. 8
Cheers coco. That would explain yesterday's fireworks lol
Hi sjab (and others). Not going to pretend I fully understand the mechanics behind the extra shares admission, after hours or late reported trades... But could these large ones possibly be a sign of a market opening dump. Welcome all input positive or negative.
Going to be an interesting day no doubt cricket
Looking to get back in tomorrow on any decent dip post new share addition. Curious as to what others think likely. I personally think there will be quite an early sell off, but equally I'd not be surprised if there was an equally as quick recovery. Anyone think 20p possible?
