Cheers, can't recall exactly what was said... But do remember there was some "chatter" about potential t/o...must have missed the actual post which referred to it being in a publication.
Can you remind us what that was JMAX... Can't recall what it might have been but very curious.
One thing we can expect as the 30th approaches is a bit of speculative buying as folk take their positions on what might happen... Imagine if the rns drops with the news it's all systems go...thsts gotta be worth quite a re-rate at today's sp. Equally if news is not so positive then I'd admit that you'd expect any rise from here up until then could deminish. At today's sp, and with oil at about $87 and looking strong then current price is very tempting surely.
Who knows what the final outcome will be (I hit post message button early lol).. Surely there is far too much money to be made for Kenya or Tlw to walk away from developing their asset. Like Anton says though, come 30th June we should be a bit more informed... Even if it's just a further extension.
Legal battles cost money, and time...who kn
After today's rns it's going to be an interesting period for the business going forward...Obviously we are all focused on the main developments with the hydrogen tech, but could the "sky be the limit" for engsolve... and it playing a huge part in cash generation for phe. Very much looking forward to the future with this one £££
On the main lse page for any stock, if you look at the info on the main overview page you will find the market size (75,000) in tullows case.
I concur.
Can't recall the names, but over the years I've held stock in a number of companies ( including
TLW) that have "hovered" around the enrty / exit criteria for FTSE 250 Listing... Not once so far has it seemed to make much difference to the share price. Must admit was expecting better when any of those companies joined with my thinking that they would then be getting snapped up by tracker funds etc etc. You could well be correct JMAX with it needing a sustained period of membership to benefit?
Maybe his available money is "tied" up elsewhere JMAX.. Who knows, possibly has exspensive tastes and £100k was all he could afford at that time.
Lol, never heard that saying before Stanley pro... I like it, however there's no way Rahul et al would not be interested in the sp. Shares might be free but they'll be wanting to maximise their reward like anyone else would
That would be a nice wee income stream
Hi Andoman. Others have posted that 70% of the shares are held by institutional investors.. That kinda contradi some of your post?. Perhaps I have misinterpretated your post?
Hi Anton, just for clarity... I'm not trying to imply nor convince folk that should Kenya not happen tullow will not get compensated after going through the courts etc etc. Simply that there could be some debate on what would be the likely outcome. Hopefully there is a precedent somewhere that can be used as a kinda guide, different countries, different laws etc but even just as a comparison. I've everything crossed Kenya gets the green light. That I assure you.
.. Will know all the detail, legal avenues, appeals etc etc etc. I agree that there is no way Kenya are going to cough up 2 billion, but there must be a figure / outcome where both partuesc agree. I don't think it will come to thst, but if it does what's folks thoughts on possible £ value
Interesting topic for discussion. For arguments sake just say tullow decide to withdraw from Kenya and do indeed envoke some legal challenge/process or whatever to recoup monies. What do folk think would / could be the outcome. Considering none of us will actually know e
Probably wishing he'd delayed his last purchase at 38p...but must feel like current levels can't be ignored.
Been asking myself for some time now why would Kenya not happen?... Weighing up the benefits you'd be forgiven for thinking it's going to happen eventually. Might be be news tomorrow, next week, next month or even further down the line, but if, and when it does, and if tlw are still 100% involved then I'm sure there will be a re-rate to eclipse all re-rates. Have watched today's presentation and the slight chuckle from Rahul when talking about Kenya would suggest he knows its on everyone's minds, but more importantly it suggests to me he fully expects a very positive outcome.
"Advantage Anton" . That's quite a reply... Wonder what gibberish JMAX will try and trump that with. Lol. Good stuff.
That is true, the whole stock market is nothing more than a bus...get on and of at the correct stop and you make money, miss your stop and you lose and need to go around until your stop comes up again. It's nothing more complex on that in reality.
