Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
So you know how painful it can be getting legal eagles to move quickly, they only have one speed :)
Still, I am always optimistic and reckon it'll be done within the next 2 weeks, they already spent a couple of weeks working on it (no doubt they immediately instructed them to proceed the day of BPL).
Cracking podcast, as usual, he is beaming!!
Judging by the legal issues (again), I reckon T2 will arrive sometime in next 2 weeks, as I think they will have started the paperwork immediately upon receiving the BP licence.
Great interview Andrew, keep at it!
Such characters lurk in every corner of the world, not just AIM.
The difference with Vast - AP and the company as a whole - is they keep to their word and continue to develop and deliver what they set out to do... I find this absolutely refreshing in a market like AIM, I only wish more investors could see the real value here (not just the SP and the assets but the quality of the team).
The SP is beyond frustrating, someone is choking it for some unknown reason. AP I think is busy sorting the T2 deal before the Q3 report gets released. He's due in Zim in the next day or two so I expect we'll hear something today or tomorrow.
CAT eh? 'spensive.
However, I'm not so sure they would be automated in our case? They need to travel 32km and possibly via public roads? That sounds like it would need a huge amount of insurance, governance, testing, planning, etc... which we don't have time for... surely they will be human-driven using the existing workforce?
We are, I was just saying sometimes the aftercare is an optional extra :)
These beasts will get beaten and abused so stands to reason they need to be backed up with a decent support contract.
I have no idea what type they've gone for, I did some searching a while back and found CupruMin (also operating in Romania) got some last year with local support: http://www.terextrucks.com/news/356-terex-trucks-increases-productivity-at-romanian-copper-mine
...be nice if we got Terex as well, they do look good and sturdy, like my old Tonka trucks as a kid.

I do feel T2 will be the next news we hear about and that I think will be very soon, maybe even today... IMO once that is confirmed there should be no umming and aahhing from the sidelines; as if the licence was the thing holding this back, with funding there is simply nothing between now and profit early next year (and yes I still believe Vast will get BP up to production much quicker than quoted).
Yeah. I'm not sure if many realise just where Blueberry is, it's basically Rosa Montana's brother, world class, and we get to oversee and develop it without any of the environmental or licence roadblocks. Chuffed for AP and for anyone who got in on the EMA pre-IPO (I couldn't scratch the cash unfortunately).
I guess once assay's are done, a JORC report will be drawn up and submitted ready for licence application by the end of the year.
Let's get the alluvials dealt with first.
If based on the research posted the other day by Takawira (who became ZCDC mining exploitation manager) was to go buy, then the kimberlites in this region may be too "young" to bear much value, the real value may be held in the higher-quality gem-quality deposits found further afield (around the area where we happen to be).
Tho to caveat that, JC may be better qualified to comment on kimberlites than Takawira.
Iya!
1. Too vague to answer -effect of what on the SP?
2. Some PIs do find it useful and buy in based the strength of community research.
3. No, the reason of most of my posts its to provide factual contributions to the state or status of the company. That I believe in my research is part of the reason I post. If this be deemed incestious then so be it.
4. This is a binary question and unfair to pose as yes/no or agree/disagree argument; impossible to disagree with this... yes Vast my succeed... or yes, Vast may fail... what are you asking here?
I'm not sure what you're aiming for with this post, but I will leave you with this; it is a myth that Ostriches bury their heads in the sand.
