Now that is the thousand dollar question mate for which there is no definitive answer.

If the price can hit 20p in 12-18 months then I'll be happy but valuing gold mining companies that have booked reserves, income tied to gold price and fluctuating AISC is both an art form and a mathematical exercise..

There are on this board posters who truly know their stuff, I'm not of them though I do appreciate good companies of which GGP is one....

If the GGP-Newmont was being discussed and agreed to way back in March (an article this week) then one would assume that the finalisation of said deal should not be too far away. Early Q4 rather than late Q4

I take it Mr Richter's experience at Telfer will prove invaluable...

Are you saying that at Telfer there is material value to be unearthed that as not yet been unearthed? If that is the case then this is something that the market salivates over, something over and above not already 'priced in'.

Today's news on Telfer is momentous, it's importance cannot be overemphasised. Newmont will still incur any costs associated with bringing Telfer back online and then they'll hand over to GGP an asset that forms the basis of GGP's commercial future
