Those large block trades may have been executed days ago and simply printed today as a delayed print. Far better to wait for the TR1 and see who ends up owning GGP stock and at what %.

It's a nightmare trying to work out trades, almost pointless at times though the UT is always an obvious execution to all and sundry

I'd rather have intelligent, targeted dilution than debt. Just look at PFC. At least with dilution the shareholder remains in control. Debt as we can see with PFC hands a degree of control to the creditor and in many cases concludes with the company being taken from the shareholder and handed over to the creditor.

I'm sure GGP will have at some stage (short term) release material news which should speed up the placing churn we're seeing at present.

The distribution of the placing so far has been well managed..

One would necessarily assume that the OP would be tonight's closing price at UT which was 6.9p though there is an opening auction at 7.50am.

Look at the intrad-day chart for today and how the closing price spiked after close, the UT

A UT of 5.7m at 6.9p was very bullish and a premium paid for size above 6.6p

Struggling without level 2 mate but these are the main MM for SETSQX. With volumes associated with GGP one would think the larger MM players would be involved

Thanks for your contributions, the less well informed on such issues (like me and no doubt others) appreciate it but the real question is what is 'priced-in' (discounted) and what isn't 'priced-in'?

I'd like to think that much of what you reference is not priced-in by the market but as ever investing is a matter for each investor trying to assess and judge the judgement of the market. Logic therefore dictates buying shares around this general level is risked to the upside (bullish bet) rather than the downside (bearish bet). It all comes down to general risk assessment. There's always a time to buy and a time to sell no matter how good the company you've bought shares in.

Don't be left holding the baby when the price tops out and if you're gonna chase the price like an idiot then keep your capital exposure to a minimum.

Personally, I reckon 30p is achievable over the next 24-36 months or so especially if they can extend Telfer mine lifespan and Havieron on-stream.

let's hope gold can do GGP a favour and break $3000 and hover around that region for some time.

Ashtead (AHT) fell to 1.5p in March 2003, today it's around £55...so companies can trade their way out of the financial mire. yes, it's rare but PFC do have the company and the customers to do such a thing

there's money to be made here. the market might push us down to around mid 6 or below. if you can't make money buying around that area considering the bullish corporate developments with ggp then there's no justice

i bought a million way back at around 1.75-1.9p and got rid way to early but knew in my heart that the price's manic appreciation to higher 30's would burn so many punters...i hate seeing punters lose money cos i'm a punter myself and have lost money in the past but i no longer chase a manic price higher, ever. ggp's price is now nice and steady, no crazy price targets being spouted and no psychotic ramping

i'm a muppet on stuff like mining stocks but i do recognise quality. people like bamp21 are invaluable, they underpin confidence in your decision to buy..thanks to him and others

Well, the gap's been filled so the price now has a decision to make.

If Newmont is happy to take 20% of GGP equity then we can confidently assume the company who once owned Telfer sees genuine upside to their investment.

I'm down at the docks trying to drum up trade with the proceeds of this grim trade directed in this direction. How low we will descend to pump more cash into our favoured stocks

Mate, you're asking a question no one can answer. My advice. get your capital together and wait for an entry point on a down day which inevitably will occur at some point, maybe next week or even tomorrow but don't buy on a runaway price. I've bought on a runaway price and by and large you always get rogered.

There's real value to be had with GGP, over time. Buying below 8p or even 10p is over the next 2-3 years should prove profitable.
