The criminal offence is the use of commercially sensitive information not yet released to the market to generate a profit. Being in possession of commercially sensitive information is obviously not a criminal offence

I used to wonder about the dilemma faced by drillers hitting pay and then thinking 'should I send the wife a text message' as a sign to buy the stock before released of results.I suspect the rules surrounding this specific set of circumstances are water-tight though I do believe news can leak out prior the eventual released of news

I’m convinced Waymo has chosen to use Seeing Machines Backup Driver Monitoring System (BdMS). (As predicted by “The notorious blogger” a few months ago).

You can't buy them level of technical acceptance. The share price response is bullsh-t but I'm content to see news-flow that cements our reputation and importance...

Waymo is reportedly rolling out additional safety measures for its self-driving vehicle fleets, reintroducing safety drivers and installing cameras to monitor driver fatigue. The Information reports that these changes were put into place due to safety concerns, and they come after a handful of recent traffic incidents.

Waymo has also now appointed Deborah Hersman as its chief safety officer. Hersman, who was previously the chairwoman of the National Transportation Safety Board, will join Waymo in January and will focus on promoting safety throughout Waymo's self-driving fleet. "I've dedicated my career to promoting safety in our communities, and I'm joining Waymo because of the potential to make an even greater impact on reducing road injuries and fatalities," she said in a statement.

The complexity and expertise of SEE's tech and their employees are what SEE should be all about now. A pure-bred software company demanding a higher valuation than the market is affording us at present. Yes, fleet is important but the bread and butter nature of this part of the company doesn't excite the market

A huge market if GM can get the Chinese to embrace Super-Cruise and by association SEE DMS

I hope so. Super Cruise (SC) and Ultra Cruise could become a company maker for SEE in the sense that the success of SC benefits SEE enormously in terms of prestige, affirmation of SEE technology in terms of safety and convenience and based on that an expansion of its use
