re-elected to the board of Origin. I'm still not sure what Hilcorp's agenda is here. It's definitely shale-related and it's something to do with Beetaloo. If Lalicker was operating in an advisory capacity then I cannot see why he'd need to be on the board of Origin but he is on the board of Origin and he's on the board for a strategic purpose.

The upcoming appraisal and exploration results will point the way forward and taking into account the last couple of days increase in trading activity I suspect the market can sniff something

dthurgar - Are you saying that Paul and co. had customer meetings on the continent arranged BEFORE they arranged the CMD? That the CMD was tagged on?

I'm intrigued by the reason they came over to Europe for this presentation. Was the CMD-presentation an afterthought when they arranged the various meetings they have planned on the continent?

I wonder if this reconfigured supply deal with Xilinx is the precursor to further automotive deals? Automakers want cheaper cost/unit to up their margins and that this re-worked supply deal reflects that consideration.....

No, that information isn't available on L2. L2 only shows MM's advertising their current offerings at indicative prices. Level 3 can reveal iceberg orders that are used to conceal covert buying and selling but it's very difficult to confirm the identities until market rules require them to do so. The parties involved in such a transaction remain anonymous until they are required by LSE regulation to reveal such information or maybe choose to do so of their own volition...that's my understanding..i';m sure others may have a different intepretation

It's educational for anyone to try and (try being the operative word) understand the mechanisms at work though it can still prove opaque - but then that's the aim..concealing your moves from others is where the profit lies!

I think It's neither a buy nor a sell but a transfer from one party to another at 4.60p. Call it a book-keeping exercise. Logic dictates if it was a sell the seller wouldn't not be able to sell that size of trade at bid. Indeed they wouldn't be able to sell that size at all in one single trade. If it was a buy the buyer would not be able to buy that amount at 4.60p.....
