though this is incorrect. Orders on the order book are not trades and only become trades when executed ie buyer and seller come together at a price

Either a takeover or external capital investment would be both excellent for holders though if THG is able to turn things around then remaining independent and listed would be preferable now that rates appear to have nearly peaked...
