Because effix said the price will plummet. I wonder if they have amended the short they purportedly taken out?

one will drop out as soon as Haleon starts trading on 18.07.2022, so at the moment is could be HBR, ABDN or HWDN?

I sent the holding company an email on Sunday and had this response today:- “Thanks for your enquiry with BDB Pitmans. The lock-up period has expired and the share certificates have been posted to all registered shareholders. Let me know if you don’t receive it by end of the week.”

Coaster, I was thinking the same thing earlier, they constantly dis Abdn and they state on 10.06.we the price will go lower and an hour later state they have bought £13k worth of shares and then constantly dis the share…total fake.

Porche - I totally agree with you for a change that Standard merging with Aberdeen has completely floored this share - it has never recovered since the merger. As for your other comment "mind you the whole ftse pretty much at covid lows" - DJ is not much different if you check your charts! DJ up roughly 40% since 2020 lows where as FTSE 100 up 35% since 2020 lows. Whereas ABDN down 20% since 2020 lows.

Very strange effix that you've not messaged for about 6 months, wonder why?? Is it that you said it would never get above 300p, 400p, 500, 600p EVER and too embarrassed to comment again? I certainly wouldn't listen to a word you say anyway and now that you have mentioned the price will continue to drop, that means it will continue to climb. If it falls further then good buying opportunity at a lower price. win win eh!

Agree this share price drop is ridiculous and to hear nothing from the directors as a way of explanation is disgusting. 22% down in a week, 60% down in a month and 76% down YTD and still nothing from the company as a way of explanation.

The US investment bank also cut electricity generator Drax to 'sell' from 'neutral'. Shares in the FTSE 250-listed power generation firm slumped 12%.

Might be a bit of a boost as well if some of the directors bought some shares themselves at these levels, it might just put a bit of confidence back in the share prices. Especially that Andrew Regan who kicked up all the fuss last year.!!!!
