GavWallace - you state "Currently, most of the Gregg’s outlets are closed" I don't know of ONE in my local area [that I have seen so far] which is closed - so can you explain where you have got this information from? You also state that since Mid last year "its got worse, a lot worse"? So the results from September 2020 stated they were around 76.1% of 2019 levels, in January 2021 statement they state around 81.1% of 2019 level and the 5 weeks to 02.01.2021 they were 85.7% of 2019 level, can you explain hows it got "a lot worse"?
Airfix03, I don’t know how you dare laugh with the the top tips you continue to come out with, wasn’t long ago you you said £3 MAX....you do make my sides hurt with laughter with your comments....keep them coming. We do need a bit of fun in these dull times.

Yes strange that the FTSE250, Tourism & Leisure sector have done really well yesterday and today and an upgrade to buy yesterday and this share price has still struggled. I noticed it had a jump up in price after the upgrade then just sank?

Yes primary bid closes at 8pm

Yes been ticking up nicely since the suspension was lifted... may the increase continue!
Shareswotter - I think Casper is referring to this paragraph in the statement announced this morning?
Pascal Soriot, Chief Executive Officer, said: "Today is an important day for millions of people in the UK who will get access to this new vaccine. It has been shown to be effective, well-tolerated, simple to administer and is supplied by AstraZeneca at no profit. We would like to thank our many colleagues at AstraZeneca, Oxford University, the UK government and the tens of thousands of clinical trial participants."
I sold half my holding yesterday as it seemed to top out at £10.60 and held for a bit - when I saw the great news this morning that the vaccine has been approved, I thought I might have sold a day too early, but yes a rather poor response so far this morning....see how the day progresses.
Neilrich3 - if you've not interest here, then move on - happy New Year to you and enjoy your steak bake xmas lunch!
SallyB, maybe you should explain your reasoning of £6.00 being overvalued?
Yes ,at least they didn't got for a ridiculously low discounted price for the book build..just hope they remove the suspension and see where it goes.
Takeover news now published
CP64, my Halifax account is showing the same, if only we could sell that that price :-) - these talks are dragging on too long now even after the CEO left a month ago - and yes would be nice to have some news before Christmas.
