tommy15 - yes totally agree with you about the recovery....we need a bit more clarity or the return of some sort of airport use as well....see how the next few weeks pan out with more news etc...

tommy15, I don't know where you are looking or where you get the figure of "a little under 600p before the pandemic" but the share price above 700p in August 2019s andfloating around the 680p in January 2020 and then dropped sharply once the pandemic hit?

Scottyb, this was floating around the 80-100p mark and peaked at 137p back in 2017, long before funding was finalised - and yes it very frustrating still not moving about the last funding price of 45p, hey ho will have to keep on waiting :-)

Well SonofRobin - you got your 450p and somebody scoffed when you mentioned that figure! Well done to all those that have held.

Dividends are not paid on shares held in treasury, that would effectively mean the company paying money back to themselves...usually when a company buys back shares they are cancelled but again that would be made clear in the buyback statement [as they could be bought to be held in treasury]

Lets hope that airffix03 closed his shorts a few weeks back!!!

Apparently Aviva do not have any shares held in Treasury:-
"As at 25 February 2021, Aviva plc had 3,928,677,640 issued ordinary shares of 25p each admitted to trading. Each ordinary share carries the right to one vote in relation to all circumstances at general meetings of Aviva plc. Aviva plc does not hold any ordinary shares in treasury."

Because they would probably be prosecuted for insider dealing!

Well the upgrade still hasn't done much for the share price, its doing shocking at the moment. Any reason for the drop, results due next week, is it that the share price of DPZ in USA dropped last week on thier results or the thought of resturants reopening which may have an impact going forward? Very puzzling and especiialy when it shot up to £3.20 yesterday and now back to lows of July 2020.

"your experience" - I would use that term very loosely!!! Its a shame Britains Got Talents isn't runnig this year, you could have applied.
