The tone of the update is positive, but the move into debt and barely increased revenue is not that reassuring . I'm not selling but will see if the share price drops more before buying.

Nothing to get too exited about - though a profit (albeit small) is good to see. The market as usual at the moment taking a dim view.

The market is getting very hard to please when results are posted. Given the disruption by strikes these results seem pretty good, however I suspect the share price may go lower first so I shall hang fire.

The share price drop seems fair enough given flat revenues here despite opening new depots. I'm surprised costs have risen more than they have - explained away in the RNS by efficiencies. Still a profitable business and it must be very tough for others in the same market. Just need to decide at what price to buy some more - possibly around 750).

Strange given the size of the contract win that the share price has hardly moved. News was out at 4PM.

I appreciate revenue has not grown so it can't really be thought of as a growth stock, but if the profit and cash flow are a true reflection of the state of play, then the market cap is way too low. Hard to judge what is really going on here.

Yes - all very bullish - even if much of that comes from the poor state of the economy. Hard to see this company not continuing to grow.

Not sure why anyone would take profits at this price. It is lower than a month ago and since then we have had this great trading update. Longer term it's got tailwinds in its favour. Higher NI, minimum wages, worker rights, pension liabilities are going to increase automation.

Agree about the prospect of a TV series - currently enjoying Goliath with Billy Bob Thornton - might need to be a prequel to that. However I feel sorry for shareholders - glad I resisted the temptation.

Hard to square it's present market cap of less than £200m with the more than £4bn market cap in Sept 2021. Anyway I have topped up, believing the possibility of a sale/merger is on the cards and that Q4 results might be better than Q3.

Can you imagine how much it would have fallen if the decision had gone the other way. I think the relatively low price of oil is keeping a lid on the rise.

Is it just me that thinks that all this is just shenanigans - and some people will have done very well out of it. I'm coming to the conclusion that level playing fields especially on AIM are a fools imagination.

Sounds to me that Ageas is getting Saga at a bargain basement price by the back door. Compare this to what Aviva paid for Direct Line - a bit apples and pears but i don't see this as great news for Saga's long suffering shareholders (me included).

All the figures look good except for net debt - 'Net debt position at 31 October reflects significant payments in the period (acquisition earn outs of £4.1m, share buy-backs of £0.8m and dividends of £2.0m)'. Is the 4.1m earnout actually good news - i.e. indicating the acquisitions are performing well? However I'm not sure it's good news to increase debt by issuing dividends - something vodafone has been doing for years mind.

AJ Bell reply on just trying to identify the dividend statement in Euros in order to claim back WHT. "-- we are not able to facilitate your request for a summary broken down by country nor would we be able to provide an annual tax summary which contains the foreign currency value as we do not have the functionality to do this."

I hit a brick wall as my shares are held in a Sipp nominee account with H/L and that means no refund. Had it been an ISA, I might have got somewhere. At least H/L made some attempt to be helpful. A/J Bell were totally unhelpful and I wouldn't think you would get very far with Freetrade etc. It's a scam, the Irish Gov know it's a scam and are grateful for it. The EU know it's a scam and are looking into it. It puts me off buying foreign shares that have highish dividends.

Topped up after this update (though still underwater). I think we should should see a steady improvement in the share price to more 'normal' levels.
