Hard to square the miserable share price (ok up a bit today) with these great results. The market seems to be pricing in Armageddon.

Trying to understand why this keeps drifting downwards when the financials published in June where decent.

With a drop of 13% , it's tempting to top up. At some stage this share will recover as economic sentiment improves - but could it go lower first?

I have come to the conclusion on reading these results, that the company would be in deep poo if it wasn't for fairly extraordinary high oil prices. If they continue then it should be plain sailing.

I bought this dog of a share when I found an old copy of Investors Chronicle that recommended the share when it was about 4 times the price. I had stopped subscribing to IC when it had cost me thousands in duff tips. Thankfully I bought very few of RENX, but it all adds up. Advice - don't go anywhere near IC.

In May they said - 'We have continued with our steps for an orderly exit of this business once existing contracts are satisfied'. I couldn't see a mention now , only about the commencement of deliveries after full FAT approval. Perhaps a re-think is taking place and waiting for a new CEO to lay down direction. I would have though body armour in this environment of increasing civil violence, war and geopolitical uncertainty was not a business to exit.

Have a look at the demographics of the country. 1 in 5 now over 65 and growing. The mother-in-law just (aged 90) just ordered some shoes online from them.

Visited Norfolk last week and saw quite a few PB signs with sold across it - more than here up North at any rate. In this market most sensibly priced properties sell within a few weeks. The market is likely to turn down but nobody especially Capital Economics can forecast when.

Nice to hear some positive news for a change. Given the smallish numbers, perhaps not wholly convincing, but a start.

The share price reaction is like a mining share that has just declared it's failed to find anything. I'm disappointed in the news but I'm happy to top up at these levels.

Net debt has gone up a lot.

I stopped my subscription to IC some months ago as their tips were costing me money. They seem to be still recommending Kromek. Thankfully I have managed to trade them well enough to have not lost money and if history repeats I suspect they will bounce up at some stage (for me to sell) to be followed by decline.

Hard to get excited about having to borrow more money; a large part of which will go towards paying the board's salaries.
