Quickly read the RNS and thought 'this is all pretty good' - so why the share price fall. Then read the Alliance News headline about the loss widening - had to then re-read RNS to find mention of that - well hidden - nice!

Anyone know where the fine money ends up ? Presumably some bonus scheme exists and there is some petty cash for Xmas parties and the like.

So the CEO Ian is 'delighted' - but losses increase and the share price has tanked. Strangely I'm not delighted with the way costs seem to be out of control and with the phrasing of the RNS where it is hard to decipher whether revenue is up or down.

Unless we start getting boycotts/restrictions on Chinese goods, the tie in with BYD could prove a good move. Their cars are surely going to eat into Tesla sales. Even without this, the share price seem cheap and so I have bought some.

Bought some more on the news here. You have to remember this isn't just about the (gloomy) situation in the UK.

On the whole looks positive if not stunning, bought some more on the drop. Interestingly the headline news on this site is 'TP ICAP full-year profits boosted by market volatility' , The clue is in the last word of which there will be plenty more.

Is the chair Diane Savory involved in the company or just on the payroll? A bit of clarification would be nice - even the words 'with immediate effect'' or 'for personal reasons' or 'due to stress' would be useful. To raise 1.85m in December and then to appear to call it a day takes the biscuit.

It certainly has a strange feel about it, though nothing mentioned in the Feb RNS. "The medium-term outlook for all of our markets remains positive."

I would have though directors would be buying at these levels. The sells in June 2022 at 140 look shall we say well timed.

Margins here and the general construction industry in general are very poor and subject to the unknown issue (e.g. Costain and A-road upgrade). Housebuilders are probably a better bet, having said that I might trade between 65 and 79.

Yes tempted to buy at this level, but can't quite bring myself to do so - waiting for a further drop first. Talk of banning TIkTok is not helping sentiment.

Cheap for a reason though. Comes across as very badly managed and poor judgement re hedging. I suspect that without the war in Ukraine (even with hedging) this would have gone under.

Agree - was expecting to read something bad based on the share price reaction. Debt not great, but then they have been doing acquisitions. Certainly not selling on these results. Regarding outlook, a new CEO is always going to set expectations on the cautious side.

With a 7.5% fall in the share price, the market is not pleased - seems a bit harsh to me.

I tend to agree, but they are still picking up new clients and they are making more money on customer cash balances. Some of the competition are pretty poor too (Fidelity, Abrdn to name just two). I have had multiple trading platforms and I can't say I would recommend any of them. They all seem incapable of doing transfers without taking ages or getting it wrong. As a country, we are meant to be good at financial services, it must be awful elsewhere.

The share price is drifting down the plug hole on no news.

Was expecting better results from the share price reaction this morning. Work is still in progress and no reason to sell but am not reaching for the buy button on these figures.

Yes looking at share price, I thought I had better check for a poor RNS - nothing to see. I keep reminding myself that the IPO was at 300p.

I'm starting to get the impression this will always be promising jam tomorrow and always sucking more fundraising from punters. I'm glad I sold most on share price bounces and will look to do the same for the rest if that happens.
