I thought the impairment reverses if the long run price of oil goes up. In the short term interest rates will remain low but over the 'long run' oil needs to go back to $100 to stop central banks printing money. The alternative is everyone becomes rich and drive tesla's. Think higher oil is more likely than rich peasants (sorry)

Agree although there isnt much to like in the uk market fitting that description unless you are restting for 2 or 5 years out. Good bargains then.. Hard to avoid the capital drops on said shares over the last few years and loss of div income which is why pi's are taking higher risk imo...at least, I am..

Hi Broomfielder, agree its difficult to say. The big transactions were unlikely to be pi's imo. As a pi, I made a small profit in the morning but gave it back the next day... The loan repayment I felt would simply fund director costs, storage as you say etc so watching now. If the directors have more to say following capital reorg it will fly again imo

Hi Pension-investor, someone earlier posted a link to IG encouraging bets that the SP would tank on bad Q1 results. Well it didnt but these bets may have held the SP down because we only saw 16%. Think this will continue for a while because the the shorts will be hurting imo
