There are actually two kinds of DPS's, open and closed. Open means suppliers can apply to be on the preferred list at any time during the life of the DPS. As long as they meet the qualifying criteria, they will be added to the list. Closed means that once the list is initially established, it is then closed to new suppliers. I assume this one would be open, as I can't see the sense in shutting out potential new suppliers.

By the way, the mini-tenders don't get published. They are just sent out to the preferred suppliers. So, the first we will know about any successful bids, will be after they are awarded...via an RNS, I would imagine.

A DPS (Dynamic Purchasing System) is a system designed to collate a number of qualifying suppliers onto a preferred supplier list. After the framework is established the buyer (DHSC) will run a series of mini-tenders within the framework, to which the preferred suppliers can then apply. That's why there is no value shown in the tender.

After months of lockdown, people will be bending over backwards to go partying again.

If you're worried about it, just ask IG if you can do a Title Transfer. If you do that, you won't have to close your positions. It just shifts the risk off their books and onto you. Doesn't make any difference to you, apart from in the scenario where IG went bust, which is pretty unlikely, them being a FTSE250 company.

Neutronic, just one small correction, ODX are not on the IG list of 900 companies. It is Deepverge and Novacyt that are on the list.

Yeh, this is what was posted a few weeks back. Wonder if anyone can tell from the Bloomberg screen, which are proper 'insti' holdings and which are nominee accounts?

I think the HL holding is on behalf of clients, so not a true 'insti' holding. One of the guys explained the difference on here a couple of weeks ago. There's a term for it, but I can't remember.

I'm all up for a genuine debate oldtimer, but you just seem to use that as an opportunity to repeat the same negative point, over and over and over again. Do you wonder why people are a little suspicious of that?
