Had a look at Innova Porton Down Phase 3b this morning to try and get a direct comparison with Mologic. Still have a very sizeable holding in ODX, but just a pity they went with Mologic, rather than Avacta.

Somebody posted UK manufacturing capacities over the weekend, but didn't have figures for BBI. Just dug this out to complete the picture:

Interesting that BBI have ISO13485 certified QMS systems in place, yet chose to go with Mologic for that.

Where does it say GAD are ready to produce Avacta test Jvetch? genuinely interested. I don't recall AS saying that in the interview, but I'll listen to it again if you confirm. I would have thought that unlikely before Avacta finish clinical validation.

Great post jally109. All the ODX vs Avacta nonsense is becoming quite infantile and tedious. I'm a long term holder in both and believe both companies will do very well over the coming months.

First time I've seen Mologic sampling method:

• Head to head comparison of nose/throat (nostril/tonsil) and nose only (anterior nares) swab from same patient

So, they'll going for anterior nares, since 100% concordance between the two sampling methods.

If craiga's right, the tooth fairy will be dead by now.

Just wondering what the relationship is between "The Technical Validation Group (TVG)" and Porton Down. Too many govt organisations to keep up with here!
