I cannot speak for outdoor delivery staff but as far as inside operatives are concerned there was at one time an incentive scheme...it is the managers only now who receive the incentive bonus. Finger been poised here for several weeks...but just cannot convince myself this will be the bottom. In the absence of really positive news, buying at these prices is just speculation in its purest form (casino gambling); without a detailed operational update based upon solid evidence that clearly demonstrates the company is drilling in the right places, and highly likely to hit hereto untapped reserves, then this is quickly going nowhere. I would rather buy more shares at 10p a share when underpinned by more than a reasonable chance of success than pile into, however cheap the s.p (and cheap for a very good reason!) something that is based upon just more vague updates and wishful thinking. But everyone to their own I suppose...its an aging thing: with increasing years comes more hesitancy.

When you have all finished loudly debating and canvassing on behalf of the political party of your choice could anyone explain why it is that with only one more day to go (unless I have the date wrong) to the ex-dividend date the share price is actually falling? Is it not the case that normally it is the other way around? Unless of course "they in the know" know something us poor smucks don't. Nothing new there then.

Public support? I don't think your average CWU member gives a tinkers toss for public support; and what has Joe Public got to do with I.A pray tell? As for picking up the dividend: don't think for one minute this dividend RMG are paying, or any dividend that RMG intend to pay in the short to mid term for that matter, can be maintained. The business might not only cut it again next year...but be forced to cut it all together in the very near future. Imagine what that would do to the s.p? It would fall quicker than a wh@res drawers as dividend investors tripped over themselves in the rush to sell. This is not a stock for the short term...it is, as I so many times have repeatedly stated, a long term return. At least 6 - 8 years for the highs of £6.30 to hopefully return...and hopefully for any dividend whatsoever to be paid. Hopefully!

At least he is not mad enough (come to think of it -- not thick enough either!) to suggest a share price of £5.50 by 2020. Errr...2020 is just over 4 short weeks away of course.

Unlike most other chat boards, concerning many other stocks, this one, although admittedly not unique, is quite different from many others. Why? Because it employs ten of thousands of workers throughout the UK, lots of whom have invested, and continue to invest, substantial amounts of money into their employers company. When someone from the shop floor of that company repeatedly informs you of the many problems and the growing gulf between management and employees, what do the majority of you do? Answer: attempt to belittle him as nothing more than a degenerate militant with a chip on his shoulder. Incredible! The arrogance on this board shared by the majority of posters is truly astounding. And for all you rampers and self-confessed experts just take a look at the current share price and ask yourselves this: did he not warn you of all the malaise's and inherent problems, the cracks that were beginning to appear in the company's hidden infrastructure? Answer: you bet your sweet arse he did!! And most of you cannot even find it in you to admit he was right. He is not a militant...he is just a normal postie who sees, week in week out, what nearly all of you have never seen, every single working day. Five year plan? Maybe? But there again...maybe not. Like I have always stated: five years at the very least for this s.p to return to its former highs...five years being a conservative estimate that is.

I see by one of the weekend columns, from some of Fleet Streets sturdiest sons, an article concerning Sir Vince Cable and his part in heading the former privatization of RMG; he came under intense criticism at the time of the flotation...accused basically of being incompetent. Well, nobodies laughing now are they.

Attempting to answer my own question: perhaps an overtime ban starting next week to cover the December period of pressure. There are still lots of things the CWU could do to put a big dent in the fundamentals of RMG's most lucrative period of the year. Lots of things in fact.

Must admit I was rather surprised to see how the s.p slid away today. Was going to buy myself another slice...but instead kept coming back to the laptop and watching as it carried on tripping further downwards; fully expected the stock to climb back over 2.20 today in all honesty. Anyone know why this drop in price after everything that happened yesterday in court?
