No mishearing about it. With a damp squib you can dry it out and eventually the whole thing goes off with a bang...albeit a rather ineffectual one. A damp squid however is a completely different kettle of fish...errr, literally that is. A squid is just that -- a damp squid! The only way that thing is going to go off with a bang is to shove a straw up its jacksie -- and blow real hard! lol.........!!!!

Chances are that may well be a really small gathering for this aforementioned party...bit of a damp squid so to speak.

Well finally it has come down to what it always was -- just an out and out punt! I feel sorry for all of you who got greedy and continued buying up large chunks as the s.p was moving rapidly upwards but the truth is a lot of people on here disregarded a lot of good, sound advice and carried on indulging their greed -- to their cost! This is an outright sell as it stands...but saying that the stock is so very much depressed it would probably be better to just hold on...sit on your hands so to speak. I can see it falling down well under four pence come sometime tomorrow; who knows at that price might be worth another punt? After all...thats all it is and ever was, just like any other hole in the ground -- a punt!!

Thats not a bad bit of summing up, Hawkey47. I think a s.p of £5.00, even £6.00 perhaps, is not being overly optimistic sometime in the next four or five years...maybe sooner if all goes to plan.

Typo -- "things"

Looks like a retrace might be on the cards...personally not bothered if there is; gives us more shares when the dividend is finally forked out. I think, come February, the Christmas figures will be really quite good...apart from letters of course. A bigger fall here, regarding aforementioned letters, than even RMG envisions I would think. Get the thorny issue of negotiating a temporary deal with the CWU out of the way -- and thinks will be looking decidedly upwards! Well...for a couple of years at least. All in all I am feeling a lot more confident here now...and that also is in regard to whatever the s,p does in the short term. Roll on the New Year!!

If people on here could see the amount of undelivered mail returned nightly to the NRC (Belfast) they would be truly astounded. The cost to RMG -- mind boggling!!! We are talking of millions upon millions of items (both letters and parcels big and small) undelivered every single year. Truly incredible.
