Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
500m would be about 35p, 1bn 70ish, 2bn 140ish.
With market cap as low is it is obvs these figures are v optimistic lol
Think I have read that one song will be available on FB live? or have i misread that/ made it up?
For the negative posts out there company is doing a cracking job with the money available- getting awareness of an event without spending a bean on advertising and spreading the word via the most influential man on twitter and having the biggest social media company foot the bill is pretty savvy- doens't scream to me that the BOD don't know what they are doing.
Also employing huge names to come and work for the company and giving them share incentives means these clueless idiots who have joined clearly think the SP is only going to go one way must also not know what they are doing.
Giving a free concert away to gain maximum traction and have others think they missed out also seems to be a good incentive to make people think they won't want to miss out again.
Lighten up people- its Christmas!
it does seem odd they would get Andy on board and describe his role in selling ZPG if he were not coming to help them sell the business...?
Personally think its too soon to sell. Only just getting started now how onto your chips and sell for 2/3 times more in a couple of years.
Would be nice if this action was Merian finally closing their short positions
Ah good point thanks AlbertStroller
well done BA- lucky b**tard :D
shame they didn't send a sorry you didn't win email but heres how you can watch it....
at least can give me a chance to watch it through the headset in new special definition
I think after this live concert people will understand what melody are all about. I have spent some time replying to people who keep saying 'i wish i lived in London' etc etc who don't get the point that they can watch it in VR- where they would be able to get a lot closer to Liam than they probably would with tickets.
I think they are under the illusion melody are just sponsoring a live gig or something of that nature.
Melody need an intern to reply to every tweet and say- you can be there, get a headset and download the app.
Uptake on followers for twitter handle still low as well which is disappointing but not that much of a concern.
Did see CapitalFM tweeted the link to Liam's live show on Melody which is also good advertising
The coverage in lead up to 19th should intensify and expect big things afterwards- maybe not so much in SP but overall media attention for Melody
I have to say I was sceptical about their lack of advertising earlier in the year, think it was down to plunging share price and jittery nerves, but the BOD have been absolutely masterful in the way they have gone about their business.
Early released content was advertised for free by the artists on Twitter for Free.
Facebook are paying for their advertising campaign !!
The most influential man on Twitter with over 60m followers is promoting us
All masterstrokes
Good article- glad to see they are addressing quality issues
'Additionally, the company states that the technology will broadcast the experience in a previously unseen quality for virtual reality'
Hopefully all future content releases will be improved quality!
Futures bright!
V excited for this live show- just hope their servers are prepared for the maximum potential number of people to be watching- not much of a techy person but I do know that if they are doing a live stream across multiple countries too many people watching at the same time could cause the server to crash- this would be disastrous advertising.
I am sure they will be on top of this though and the concert will be fantastic and 5p will seem like a distant memory
Welcome back Elk.
Have a good weekend all- a nice reward for the LTHs to enjoy.
Will be enjoying some scotch and then back here monday
Just wish i had the extra cashish to add to my 250,000 shares at 4p :(
onwards and upwards- the wife may get a slightly better present for christmas than intended after all
*insert any gag you like here*
hopefully engine two will provide thrust when the US market opens
Also love the fact when you click get melodyvr it says coming soon for windows mixed vr, playstation vr, hive and one another (dont recognise logo)
Next step: THE MOON
agree- live gig was always on the cards- glad to see promises fulfilled- becoming more and more impressed with the way this company is being run- making all the right moves while keeping purse strings v tight.
CFO RNS is masterstroke- 22 years at Universal Music is a huge coup for a penny stock company.
Squeaky bum time for the shorters
I believe that the live show is not going to be a huge sold out arena like we are all expecting- i believe it will be a one off show in a live lounge type format- would have to be a big name to justify this route to make people want to purchase it. A Jay- Z/ Beyonce combo would be good
Or, possibly more likely, it will be a US based concert- any US friends on here know if there any live shows before the end of the year under the contracted record labels?
Either way its a very exciting time to be involved and the future of this company I believe will bear fruit for all involved.
You don't sign the biggest record labels on the planet, get exclusive venues, partner with the worlds biggest social media platform and hire some of the top executives in the world of media if you don't know what you are doing.
are you shorting this jimmydarko? if you're not shorting it, you're not buying it, then we don't need you on here slagging off other investors, go find another stock if you're not interested
Merian must be laughing every day. Drop of 3-8% almost daily without failure.
Hopefully some positive news RE: Live shows but as seen in past good news doesn't always make the share price rocket.
I think the only way we will see a real SP surge is if they release a statement along lines of 'initial user numbers higher than expected' or 'initial sales better than expected'.
That said buyhiselllo is correct. Just need to show some patience. 2019 is the year of VR!
I agree that would be the best time to do the concert as then the headsets would be unwrapped and people will be looking for content. Announcing the live show pre christmas though would be the best way to encourage more sales in the run up. Really think the announcement has to be made sooner than later- hopefully by this friday
Have a good weekend all. Hoping that during my golf break I hear some good news that Melody have announced 'XXXXX' as a live show before Christmas. Ideally Adele doing a one off live show from her house.
