Would be nice to see some large late buys today heading into the weekend. Would make my evening today much nicer sipping wine watching the tennis at the o2.
Slightly off track but I wonder if they will ever get players to wear tiny cameras on themselves- imagine that- switching viewing between Federer and Djockovic so you can see what they see, or flicking between players at a football match so you can experience what they are doing live. I wonder if thats where Sky see their VR in a few years- next level player cam. Golf would be an easy one as they all wear caps lol or skiing as they wear helmets with go pros most of the time
Think the shorters will push this back down to 5 maybe 4.90 again before we see another blue push. Sooner the live show announced the better. Hopefully that announcement will see them close their short position and we can have some sustained positive momentum
its a joke how they get away with it really, nothing but good news recently and positive momentum, driving the price down so they can pick it up at the bottom
This aged badly
Now the US market has opened hope this starts turning blue....
Have to agree with this given the advertising is US based with Oculus in $$$ will probably be a US artist.
They always say you've made it if you can crack the US. Lets hope we crack it early doors
The way this is going that could be a fantastic top up Jimmy! Love the advert things could about to lift off in next two weeks!
All of them lol
although with the maths you've done that would be substantial loss haha
£10 * a million =£10 million
Thats the dream :D
Thanks for sharing that petebo.
Does anyone else interpret this line to mean they will only live stream a show that has sold out already?
'It's also important when a show is sold out to enable someone to have that experience in real time that they can't otherwise have'
Also states that it could replace secondary ticket market. It would make sense to only do live shows for gigs that are sold out already I guess as then there is the demand to want to see it on other avenues
seems like it would be logical choice, they are on Melody already, theres a vid of them trying the app watching themselves having a laugh and its in December which would all make sense
From my own investment point of view I personally hope its not them though- I don't think there will be the demand for thousands/ hundreds of thousands of extra tickets or are they bigger than I thought?
I have music by them and like them but don't think they have the global outreach we are after
Yes. Merian would likely buy shares once they have closed their short which would see price rise
On the 16th it changed, it actually increased from around 0.72% (i think?) to 0.92% on the 16th
Surely the microphone buttons on peoples headphones could operate the jump spots? press once to move spot, press twice to move back to last spot?
Doubt there would be many playing it full volume without headphones in on cardboard headset
Difficult now as we are all (well most of us) waiting for the SP to turn in the right direction, just have to hang in there. Strongly feel this will start turning blue in the next couple of weeks in lead up to Christmas, once it gets some forward momentum hopefully there's no stopping it!
This price could be a steal come the New Year, just topped up a small amount, won't predict where it will be but i am positive it wont be as low as 5
Thanks for the feedback petebo and Restless- could be a very exciting couple of months ahead
In run up to Christmas at the o2 (where they exclusive rights)- there is Years & Years- who are already have content on the headset, Def Leppard, Mariah Carey and Paul McCartney.
If its right that its an artist looks like it would be between Paul McCartney or Mariah Carey- personally i would prefer Mariah Carey- would appeal to younger generation more- plus who wouldn't like to see her up close lol
Fingers crossed I hope you are right RestLess.
Personally I cannot see any live shows this year- we are not on PlayStation or other headsets yet, we are not in Asia yet and I am not sure they will have the capacity to send out free headsets yet (unless they are v cheap and cardboard) as they would still need to sort out the viewing platform for mobiles and having the ability to switch from one spot at the venue to the next.
I imagine one way they could solve this problem is that I imagine everyone watching on a phone would have headphones in- so they could use the mic buttons on the headphones to alternate between spots where you want to watch the gig, press twice to move forward, three to move back etc.
Still very excited about this going forward, I would be happy for there to be no live shows this year if it meant we expanded userbase onto other devices and released in Asia, no point jumping the gun and delivering a poor live concert if they are not ready- it would severely damage the reputation for future gigs if its not perfect
