It's possible . Bex has become quite a mission for Markku and the team - and they have become very protective over it .
I believe they passed up on possible offers back in early PII days , as they saw its potential as an enabler for other drugs .
The longer they keep it , and so long as they keep gaining positive knowledge , the more valuable it becomes .
When questioned in the past about selling to one BIg Pharma , he answered by saying that Bex would be almost too important to be owned by just one company . It's potential shouldn't be limited by that .
So the idea of licensing it for various conditions , allowing them to continue trials is something they envisage .
If Bexmab shows good data , that could be the launch of a license deal in the Leukemia sector .
That would solve funding for a good while you'd think .
Hopefully , with FDA meeting this autumn , that also gives them some options too .
Personally , I've had enough placings , and by the looks of it , so has the market and the investors .
Q4 is crunch time . They've got plenty to go with .
I don't think anyone wants a $50 million placing , and I hope it doesn't come to that .
Toni and Markku are well aware of the situation , and I'm quite sure that they have the plan mapped out .
So far , large investors have it seems stuck by their plan . In fact they have increased holdings , and new key investors have joined ( Leukemia organisation) . So , it seems they have their blessing to continue this strategy .
