You need a Strategy for investment, based upon your age and attitude to risk, that is what I’ve always adhered to and it’s served me well. Research your shares thoroughly and always try to invest in sectors where you have an interest or understanding. Always check out the directors and the balance sheet..after that if nothing works, stick your underpants on your head and stick two pencils up your nose and then pick your stocks!!

I agree with most on here that a big deal is being negotiated, and we all hope very profitable for us too, and the sooner the better, although I cant help thinking that we might be several months away from a conclusion, and the reason i think this is because the new guy that has been brought in, even if he is super speedy at sorting things out, has anybody on here ever had a solicitor or barrister that has done something the same day when a week will do. They are notoriously slow, but i dont care as long as he and the rest of the team get the best deal for us all
