Salted & Smoked Kipper... you say "Serco 2024 FY Rev was Β£4.8bn, to our Β£2.4bn. Same margin."
What you fail to consider is Serco is growing its revenues, its on an upwards trajectory, whereas CPI is still experiencing falling revenues which have not yet even stabilised. By FY2025 CPI is probably going to be around Β£2.15bn revenues with an asset sale or two and perhaps more likely it'll end up closer to ~Β£2bn because they're performing poorly when it comes to sales... so when you next undertake the Serco vs CPI comparison the gap between them is going to be bigger than present, not to mention the FY24 results were upto 31st Dec 2024, so pretty much 7 further months of decline have already taken place since those figures were true for CPI.
H1 results will be another 'jam tomorrow' situation.
