Expatwelsh - It's my observation those who make attempts to 'pigeon hole' or 'classify' people into types (e.g. traders, non-traders) tend to be of the 'judgemental' personality types, whom view those conceptual things as being either 'square' or 'round'... the main issue with that being it's usually the case neither is a perfect square or a perfect circle.
Typically the same trend can be applied for the migrants vs expats vs asylum seekers vs natives debate...
Though surely it's also the case that someone is a migrant if they move from Scotland to England, for a new job & life?
or
Should we all eternally live on precisely the same plot of land we were born on, for our entire lives, and never ever move from the day we're born until the day we die?
The migration debate/obsession is all just a bit ridiculous. In a decade, once Keir has calmed that debate right down, we'll all look back on the era this migration debate dominated politics/economics with a very different lens.
