We need to get past the £1b pbt hurdle and we will see a rerating. It won’t happen in the foreseeable future, until macro factors stabilize

If Jd is to double, the effect of the buyback will be equivalent of double the amount spent at these levels.

I would be happy to endure a bit of pain for a couple of years to reap the benefit in future.

At this pace it will take more than six months to complete the share buy back with the funds allocated. Perhaps too slow.

Well I can’t tell if they are new roles but usually if somebody leave, with a recruitment freeze in place, leavers are not replaced and their workload is shared among the people of their same department

If we go in the 60s, which doesn’t seem so unlikely now, they better empty the tank and allocate the remaining of the £200m

If JD allocates £200m per year for the next two years, provided net profits stay around £400m, the price will trade in the 90s again, without needing a rerating.

The red flag is the lack of inside buyers at current level you’d expect big buys but we haven’t seen any (apart from a pitiful purchase by Regis some time ago)
