So can someone tell me10 Dec 2021 11:33
We have been testing in this country and around the world for about a year. I pick up boxes of them for the family to do and when I went to Morocco for the first 10 days of October this year I had a PCR test before I went and on day two when I got back, both those PCR tests were guaranteed next day. Some people even got off the plane in Morocco and had a test while the suitcases were being unloaded. The test was done by the time the suitcases hit the carousel.
Can someone tell me please, after a year of global testing, what is so special, the USP, of the product? Why should companies swap their current test for this one? I hear that it is quicker, but is it just as reliable as the 'slower' tests? Remembering that the send away PCR test are guaranteed next day, why would shaving off 4 minutes or whatever it is matter on a next day service. A service that has worked perfectly well and got millions of people travelling internationally. When I was in Morocco the rules changed so that you didn't need to test before you came home. I understand though that you video called a nurse who oversaw you take the test, then hung up, people then went and sat in the sun for a few minutes and when the test was done, took a picture, submitted it and 20 minutes later got a fit to fly certificate. All this had to be done 48 hours before flying home. Again I ask, so why saving minutes off a test that could have been taken anytime in the 48 before coming home, is a big deal.
This has been Twitter pumped to an inch of its life but no RNS. It's slightly emperor's new clothes, but what makes this product so revolutionary?
