So what do we know

The first survey on 6 October 2023 indicated a fluid column of 700-900 meters in the wellbore.

The second survey on 21 October 2023 indicated a fluid column of c. 400 meters.

So in the 16 days (inclusive) between 6th and 21st October the pump removed circa 300-500 meters of fluid.

This leaves c 400 meters, so that's the mid point of the range above.

Assuming the pump continues to operate at the same rate and there is no additional downtime (either voluntary / non-voluntary downtime) it should take another 16 days from the 21st October to get rid of the entire column.

That brings us to Sunday the 5th November. This Sunday

I'm expecting an RNS early next week to say the column of fluid is gone and the flow rates have increased, after that with the JV the focus I think it will follow fairly quickly. Wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend.

Game on folks.

24th October they said they were working out the logistics, the RNS can't be far off. Hold on to your hats if it's the JV announcement, certainly looking at the volume good news (or bad news) hasn't leaked (yet).

.... to say until the next RNS arrives, let's hope it arrives before the end of the week.

For clarity, and I've filtered jasper so no idea what they are saying, I'd much rather Roland spent his time on finalising the JV than him spend the time answering a flurry of emails. Lordy, it comes to something why y' have to explain irony to someone.

Yep, but that won't be the spin the current Indian government will put on it. They won't mention 1% they will tell voters about moving towards energy security.

Cambay can be a vote winner via the energy security stance, I'm sure the current Indian government know that.

I'm sure they want the JV to move forward and get signed as much as we do

It isn't about voters knowing the name of Cambay, it's about the Indian government securing energy security and telling voters they have "saved the day". Irrespective of where the gas comes from.

Tiny it maybe but it's home grown gas so will help with energy security, which is a big political issue worldwide.

If the current Indian government can state in the run up to the elections that they have moved towards energy security for India by signing up and giving the go ahead to Cambay development then that is a vote winner I'm sure.

I'm still confident for a positive JV announcement in Q4 2023.

My fear is that it has all gone quiet on every aspect, and as people have said, silence rarely ends well for SYN.

The gas that comes out of c77 is our only source of income currently, so let's not shut it all down. I'd prefer them plug and keep the gas flowing from zones 5-6 (££) until the JV hand over the money.
