I was really amused to learn that the Government had loaned ODX equipment to ramp up production. This is the same Government mindset of encouraging vaccine research and ordering millions of doses of vaccine before they were ready. No Senior Civil Servant or Health Minister would sanction such a move unless they were confident ODX would deliver.
So, we have a Government strategy that is working at last. ODX, knowing months ago about the Government intentions, may well have worked through how they can increase production even more. In fact, I would be amazed if those conversations have not already taken place. Technical Transfer will, in my opinion, be the catalyst for Government orders and in the meantime we have ODX going about their business.
Today, we have had the planned sell off of shares by some Directors and that is now out of the way. ODX even tweeted reassurances to shareholders and we must now be closer to news that will increase this sp dramatically. GLA

I am not going to waste any more of my time responding further to you.
"What company in their right mind would be looking to employ another 60 staff as well as massive increase that’s happened all ready, they know what’s coming and it’s going to be BIG!!!"
And remember its a manufacturing company that has to be excellent at logistics and its Scottish. I am going to refrain from saying anything about Scots having a reputation for looking after the pennies as I don't want to be accused of stereotyping!

How much have you paid for that complete load of garbage? Id get yourself a new script! Filtered
"It's always up and down with ODX, only the strongest survive."
No, you only need to switch off and come back in a few weeks.
Bored of £1 now! I was more than bored when ODX went to 42p! Next target is Avacta sp for me and that is hopefully this week as I have a little bet with a friend!
I have other share markers but I don't want to be seen as talking about other stocks! GLA
Gazza "....there are over 2m share trades missing so far today
whats betting they are all buys that will show up later"
That's a bet I would not accept!

"I find proliferating posters like Jenn usually indicate a good time to buy" Totally agree that today is a good time to buy as there should be news on phase 2 this week and hopefully partnering with a large pharma to get it over the line
What I like about ODX is their clarity of message. We know they have constantly said they will produce 2 million tests a week in April so the RNS his morning does hint at even bigger delivery:
"The Company can confirm that it is continuing to modify its Alva-based facility to upscale significantly its lateral flow test production capacity."
We don't know the scale of the contract with Mologic but it will have clauses in it to be able to scale up production. I am not going to speculate BUT doubling production to 4 million a month from June must be under consideration, as the need is there. GLA DYOR
Yes, Tara Moore involved a Ulster University did evaluation work on the antibody test. Clearly, they now have another Government contract to do more research on antibodies and this shows the Government are happy with them. Looks like its all coming together!
The shares that cannot be named news next week??? I would settle for Phase 2 with a very large Pharma first! Both would be better! GLA
Sure is!!!
Avacta are still in the game, although covid is a bloody awful "game". But Avacta is far more than a covid stock and I first bought because of its work on cancer. I am happy to continue to hold and not trade, as the next few years will be interesting for the company and shareholders. There could well be a few surprises over the next few weeks.
I keep writing this is a low risk but high return share and I haven't changed my mind. I have already loaded up but will buy again in the morning. But always do your own research, its your money and you are responsible for your decisions. I would never ask advice on any BB, you will end up with a paid de-ramper giving you investment advice!!! How big is your sink??? GLA
Having spent time yesterday on Twitter responding to downright lies about ODX and reading yesterdays chart board , when I logged in this morning I expected the same!!
Good old FT, complete mood change and really looking forward to 7am tomorrow in case we get an RNS but regardless 8am and the opening of the stock market will be very interesting. I am no 'mystic meg' but a little auction would not go a miss.
On the FT article, it has all the signs of a planned Government leak as they manage the news flow. Walbrook saying they knew about it days ago is a great sign as the FT will have doubled checked their story.
You know the answer to that as all lth do! We should not get ahead of ourselves but I did buy myself more ODX shares before Xmas as a present for myself and I know exactly what I will be buying in a few months. Its got four wheels and a British classic!
Great news for ODX and the country. It has been worth the wait and perhaps all those individuals who have told blatant lies about the company here and on Twitter will disappear back to their swamp. Well done investors, don't think of a 10 percent profit compare with NYCT. Hold and profit. DYOR
Its a confident, timely response and enables twitter ODXX followers to respond to. It was an easy target to hit. Really cannot see this having any negative impact on sp in morning
This issue has been discussed previously and the Government legal bundle for their case against the Good Law Project clearly shows it has been approved but it looks like this information has not been conveyed formally to Abingdon or ODX. Therefore we are in a " no go" situation until the political machinery kicks into action and they will only do that when they feel confident they can trust the great British public with keeping to the lockdown rules even if their home antibody test shows they have antibodies in their system.
Of course the legal bundle could be wrong, but it looked pretty impressive....
I found that boring, predictable and lacking substance. Nothing new and Deeks wheeled out like some form of Guru spouting incoherent dribble. (I know a few people who would pay good money to interview him!)
On the plus side we know the Chinese tests are carp and it should spur the Government to promote further the UK diagnostic industry and tests and buy British! ODX could start tweeting but I'll settle for an RNS in the morning !!! GLA
