"Has someone hacked their Twitter?! Very unusual tweets from Omega!"
New strategy very welcome! Sentiment building as is the share price. Very confident messages, tech transfer news soon hopefully,
Yes and good timing as we move into close! It does feel like real news is now close!
I hear Shakespeare has written a new play called "The Share that Cannot be Named!"
Oh dear, so sorry for him! Wonder how he will spend his time now.....

"Those who remain are having to deal with politicians and SPADs who don't understand the proper relationships that should exist - and colleagues who are, frankly, not much better."
Alas, the NHS has always been a political football and the quality of Ministerial leadership has also been highly questionable. I left such an environment when I began saying things I was thinking out loud! But back to ODX, this is the environment they are navigating and I have full confidence they will deliver!

I can only say from my own experience of leading strategic procurement exercises, a dumbing down, never!
"Let’s hope the programme tonight doesn’t do too much damage to the sentiment!!"
Do you mean the ITV programme on Thursday evening or have got this wrong?

"The 26 January was the earliest possible date that any announcement could be made. However, that was dependent on a decision being made the day the tender closed (unlikely), notified to all the bidders the same day (unlikely) and there being no challenges to the proposed awards (possible)."
The procurement team tasked with this will be making sure everything is very well documented and the decision making stands up to deep scrutiny. Once the decision(s) have been made they will be further examined and past up for sign off and notifications sent out. This has to be done as carefully as possible and we have the political dimension! Ministers will be informed but clearly are not part of the decision making process. So, we may learn results early next week, any earlier absolute bonus on many fronts!
Thanks, helpful and appreciated. ODX are getting on with doing what they said and we cant ask for much more! Confident company messages!
Looks like Walbrook working tonight and reading the chat board! A positive sign. Perhaps we could have a whip round to buy the blinds, later!!
"...we can hope the government is looking at this most likely will give a consultancy company a couple of hundred million to tell us what we already know."
I have sent in my cv for the gig!!!

Logistically, it is viable if you send out the antibody test, they self test and use an app to report the result and are given a date and time to be vaccinated which is based on whether they have /haven't antibodies in their system.
What is not as viable is that people turn up at a clinic to be vaccinated but have an antibody test first to see if they are a priority. NHS staff have more than enough to do. Possible but only if vaccines are in such short supply...…..
While the Government has got a lot wrong in fighting covid, they did have the foresight to promote the development and contracts for vaccines. Clearly, the EU working as a collective, did not move as fast and vaccine stocks are limited there.
Within the UK antibody tests are to be used supposedly for surveillance, as they move quickly forward to vaccinate the population and I believe that while MHRA have approved the antibody test for home use and have notified the Government, this has not been formally notified to Abingdon and so they cannot sell to the general public. (It also lets them say they have not have an update). Such a position being justified by the fear that people testing themselves and finding that they had antibodies in their system would flout covid movement restrictions?
However, Europeans and the rest of the world, where vaccines are in short supply, may use antibody tests prior to giving a vaccine. Hence Abingdon seeking global markets. The prospects for ODX to contribute globally are clear to see as we attempt to cope with and live with this awful situation. It is going to be another interesting week. GLA
Cabinet Office will be all over this and expect a proactive Government response. This tv programme may well bring forward more news on UK diagnostic testing. Think its a good idea for calmly bringing to the attention of your local MPs, Ministers and members of the House of Lords the benefits of quality testing using the best of British. I started sometime ago using my contacts and will step up my efforts.
You paint a good picture.....
It has been a strange week for ODX and as we moved above 80p I did think it was going to stabilise and be a great base for tech transfer and then orders to be announced to move it well over a £.
The FT article certainly created the music MM like to start dropping the price rapidly and make their profits! However, anyone who has read the ODX website, RNS and watched the videos will know that the company has a clear focus, direction of travel and delivery plan and it very much looks like it is all coming together but slower than some would like.
I still believe that ODX is a low risk but high return share but that's based on my own logic ad research! Everyone has to do their own research and its usually safer to go to ODX formal documents than Twitter! GLA and lets hope for a good upcoming week!
Having done no research whatsoever, I can confirm that today is Friday and on Monday at 7am there will be without any doubt an RNS. However, not necessarily here! We can only hope and trust in our research!
The RNS will happen soon and I had hoped it would be this morning as I had two top ups in the dips yesterday. But, I feel confident that the Board will deliver eventually and it will be worth waiting for. Just like those shares that cannot be mentioned by name!!!
Two companies that will each tell you the time with your watch and charge you! Disgraceful amounts of money and yes, I did work for one of the large consultancy firms years ago!
Stating the obvious! ODX is a very well established and respected manufacturer and are being helped by Mologic, a recognised world class company on any metric you want to use, to complete the tech transfer. It cant be easy, can you imagine turning out the exact product millions of times a week with absolute no deviation? However, Mologic have already CE the test and their expertise will be invaluable in completing this work.
Its a case of do you believe Mologic and ODX working together will complete the tech transfer and go on and use the machines ODX have bought and put all those extra staff they have hired to work or not? ODX are confident, take your positions!
