the delay in posting this report was due to tech problems and for personal reasons.
attendance at the gm was surprisingly sp****. not more than five pis, ak, ewen ainsworth, sk and two female staff.
i was the only pi to ask any questions.
regarding the resolutions regarding the issue of options and/or shares i questioned why, if directors, staff are paid good salaries and management they should be incentivised with bonus shares or share options. he said it was to align the interests of directors, staff, contractors and consultants with those of shareholders. i hope this is not just another gravy train for vested interests against those of shareholders.
he offered to tell me how much he earned. i declined, but on second thoughts, wish i had asked him to divulge.
i asked when he thought the share price would be 2p, he smiled and said in a few months. i suspect and hope it might be by the end of first half of 2024. he wouldn’t comment on 3p.
i held up my hand and indicated to him i might ‘dot’ his eyes if the share price was not 2p by june ’24. he smiled and the two ladies (staff) to his left giggled.
ak has a reasonably close relation with and speaks to david lenigas frequently.
i mentioned lenigas having a track record of feeding incorrect information to chat boards about the timelines and prospects of companies he has an interest in or is following. to cite one occasion, i mentioned dl having said that 3d seismic had been used by rrr in the preparation for their drilling campaign at horse hill around 2014 when only 2d had been used. at the time it was dismissed as a ‘typo’. the typo was subsequently made twice more and, i believe, later in a f2f interview.
i would assume and hope that ak has some influence over dl, particularly in matters corcel.
my request to ak was to insist, that dl only uses accurate information when commenting on corcel’s operation. it was noted and taken on board.
what about ak? i found him engaging and pleasant in answering my questions and probably somebody who can be trusted. for me personally, this trust will be enhanced if the news during the next three months is as good as has been hinted at. if not, and if dl continues to make ‘typos’ about corcel’s operations then my trust in ak will be substantially reduced.
