Stop screwing around and just take the share price down to 1p?!

I can't believe that today's trades are not some co-ordinated plan to create buying opportunities at a much lower price.

No doubt there'll be some contra views.

It makes one wonder whether Zeus were really acting in the best interests of Altona, or other parties with whom they have long term relationships?

I'm an octogenarian and have been around the block a few times.

During the past 35 years of investing in firms on the LSE, I have met all types. On rare occasions I have expressed my frank and revealing opinion of the BoD/CEO of some companies. I was once threatened with a libel lawsuit for saying, "if looks like a fish and smells like a fish, it's going to stink to high heaven under the bright lights of scrutiny" to express my doubts. The libel threat was immediately removed when I quoted a four word email sent to me by a collaborator of the CEO.

Cedric is very different from all the directors of other quoted companies I have invested in. I am pretty sure that we are NOT being fed a load of bovine manure. He has delivered and I'm sure he will continue to do so.

Eighteen months ago I arrived to attend the AGM and had trouble gaining entrance to the building in which it was being held.

Twenty minutes after the scheduled start of the AGM I was let in and was taken to the board room. Just Cedric, Louise and one other director, no other shareholders.

For almost 30 minutes, they allowed me to ask and gave comprehensive answers to several questions about the company's operations and prospects and never once did any of them give any impression they wanted to end the meeting quickly. That, in my opinion, says a lot about the character and personality of the people running REE and gives me huge confidence in them delivering what they indicate and promise is deliverable.

... what would have happened to the share price if there had been bad news in the RNS!

I had the same problem yesterday, but now it has been corrected.

This extract from Zak Mir's comments on REE.

"Altona has been one of the standout names of the opening months of the year. The move really got going with an unfilled gap to the upside in February, and crucially that happened above a rising 50-day line.

At the same time, the stock broke through previous resistance around 2.7p, and that area effectively became support. After peaking around 4.75p, the next upside objective is 6p by the end of next month, as long as the shares continue to hold above broken resistance around 3.7p.

There is also support from the RSI trend, which has been behaving positively. As with several other names this year, the combination of a rising 50-day average and support holding above former resistance has been central to the bullish case."

His comments obviously do not take into account the effects on the share price from immently expected good MRE news and other developments.
