RE: Zama & Chevron Asset Swap>PMO3 Mar 2019 10:36
Not possible at all. PMO will not be buying all the assets, they will either buy certain assets which have a quick ROI given the tax credits or they will join with a partner to buy all. Of course they can like the Eon deal sell off certain non core assets to bring money back to the cash flow.
If we say the end sell price is 1.2 bill, I would think PMO will take upto 600m of that with upto 300m burden for legacy shareholders. What that in pounds? 250m ? Placing and RI, 150m rights issue would be circa 1 share for every 4 held? Not massive pain given the transformation thst it will bring.
I'm guessing the math whilst writing so may be out but in general those numbers I think would work, the banks accepting 300m more debt if shareholders put in the same. To many people get hung up about absolute debt when its the ratio thats important.
