It should also be noted that actual demand has been far higher than forecast demand. As China and India move from Industrial led growth to mature economy the need for oil increases. Just look at the projection for air travel both domestic and international.

Not so long ago oil at $75, PMO loves volatility, like MrD says it will hit 95p again, just like it will probably hit 63. I've done good out of PMO selling at good times, but if my buy ins had been better I would be retired!

55p is the floor, but more likely 63p. That would hurt but I can take some more of my bonus and put in at that level. Although that SP would be short lived and the bounce would come, we may have to wait for the November pre Xmas rise but hopefully not.

The US will soon start dropping production as hedges drop off, the light oil issue has always been a problem for refiners, and it's getting worse. I think it peaks in 2019, might still go up yet, but from next year will drop by over 1m bopd.

I'm looking at Opec deal till DEC and Trump and China taking positive line at G20. PMO fundamentals are safe at this oil price given the hedges and reforecast of FY production.
Add to that Zama update in June.

Nor did I, I've just bought more at a shade under 72, didn't really want to add, sold at 104 but as usual bought back to early in the 80s. Now have a new av. of 80 which I'm comfortable with.
