They have admitted to having 18 parties interested in buying the Company , and have , for a number of years , imposed a Close Period on themselves. - 18 parties were involved in the data room, at no point has anyone stated they were all interested in buying only one made a bit for a quid.
Effectively had a news blackout limited only to Operational Issues.- no news black out ever existed, this was created by desperate PIs wanting a RNS every other day, and of course a ploy to try to create the illusion of a takeover happening.
Then we had had mention of some sort of share buy back (or similiar) and finally we have a recent spate of very large buys.- there's only one person talking of a buyback and he's nuts.
I really dont see how many more clues you need , apart from perhaps a Banksy on the outside of GKP offices. I repeat that IMO any talk of of the company not being up for sale is yet more scaremongering. - but the takeover talk has been happening for 7 years and still nothing, so who was wrong in that time? There are to many who need a takeover to get their money back so that's all they see, ramping it on here 24/7 is justification to themselves that it will happen.
Gkp may well be bought out in the near future but it won't make you guys happy, not at the price of execution.
