You are correct that the primary goal of Part A was to establish safety of the combination of MRx0518 and pembrolizumab, however it is not a dose escalation study and we do not anticipate using higher doses in Part B. Because of the expected safety profile of Live Biotherapeutics, we are able to commence studies with an initial high dose while maintaining a patient-friendly, clinically and commercially viable dosing regimen, removing the time and cost of traditional dose-escalation phases required for drugs with potentially less favourable safety profiles.

The underwriting fee alone for a $50m raise would be about $4m and there would be a lot of other costs like legal and accounting fees.

The priority for 4D is to get a Nasdaq listing. This is a simple, low cost way of doing so. The cash is not insignificant and in future the company will be able to get high levels of funding for growth on Nasdaq that would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, in the UK.
As I said previously the price was around 90p when they were valued at 110p.

Thought the bit about not wanting to raise cash by granting rights to others to develop drugs they would rather keep in house was interesting. Wonder if this is in relation to Blautix.
Either way if they are looking for a Blautix partner they will be in a weak negotiating position if the potential partner knows they are short of cash
