There were a few such as Colonel Drake and our old friend TigerByTheTail who put a negative spin on the last RNS but most importantly it seems the market liked it, probably aided by the increasing price of gold. A few other naysayers have not been seen for a while, hopefully it stays that way!
I think the LOM extension is important and a little further down the line will be how will HUM move away from a single mine operator? Will DUGBE be next or is it too big or will a second mine become viable on the further part of the area that CORA are looking at? But a steady Q3 should still be the priority at the moment.
The gold price is up and down, looks like someone is trying to bring it down but every time they do it keeps on picking back up, reminding me of the last time I saw James Brown live!!
Solid if unspectacular but that’s what’s required at the moment. AISC still a touch high and that still needs to be brought down but overall a step in the right direction.
Really dragging their feet on the Q2 production RNS, don't understand why it would take anywhere near this long to get out unless there is something in there that's not great (AISC?) and therefore they want to couple it up with good news regarding the ball mill (for example). AIM works on regular good news, unfortunately, so this silence is not great.
I assume if there is no RNS in the morning it won't be issued on Friday and will be pushed into at least next week. Still expecting good, if not better than good news, but don't understand why it takes so long to get the Q2 numbers out. If I was a betting man I would say they have been ready for a week or two but for some reason they want to couple it up with other information that has taken longer to get ready.
Playboy I think it is more likely they want to release the Q2 figures, LOM extension and maybe an update on the ball mill all on one RNS which I find a shame as we all know that this AIM market works on positive news flow so getting Q2 figures say a week or so ago followed by LOM extension say early next week and then ball mill news mid to late August might be better for sentiment but that the f*ck do I know!!
