Read the message boards on many AIM stocks at the moment and it's exactly the same story and theories (MM manipulation etc) and I am sure whilst Dan's performance (in my opinion) could have been much better there seems a general malaise around at the moment and I would have to say (again in my opinion) the Brexit delays/insecurity will also be playing its part in this, the general malaise that is and not anything HUM specific.
Are the boards not working or have there really been no posts since 2.31 yesterday afternoon?
Definitely time to look at what's next? Dugbe? CORA? Moving away from a single mine operation will be a big step with much additional work for the BOD but if they want to be a progressive business surely this is being looked at by now.
Wondering if CORA issuing plan this Q for getting the damned gold out of the ground whether a stand alone mine would be preferred by the larger shareholders, not HUM related, or whether they want all that additional headache.
Decisions Decisions!!
Did anyone expect anything different from Giles Clarke? This is the guy that threw everything in with “Sir” Allen Stanford after all, that’s the type of guy historically he’s transacted with.
Do you think that should be his only focus? As CEO does he not have the right people in the right roles to allow him to sit in an overseer role himself? I think that with the productions issues last year then it's 100% right that their focus was on getting everything sorted and getting things "running smoothly" but by now I would have expected to have heard something on the LOM status even if it was a holding RNS. I seem to recollect it being due in Q1 but many have said it was H1 not Q1 but still waiting.
I get that but my point is that if mistakes were made we should 100% not just ignore them because they were a year or so ago. In my opinion part of the reason this SP is not where it could be is there is still a large proportion of PI's that are not convinced by the BOD and particularly by Dan. You may not have been around for the "Where's Dan" campaign last year but it seems when there's good news he's everywhere and when there is either bad news or no news he goes missing and lets Bert take the flak.
In the distant past communication from Dan and the PR company has been rubbish, and I am being kind. In this current time communication from Dan and the PR company is still rubbish so I struggle to accept your view that shareholders bringing up the distant past has no point. Be as positive as you like but also be realistic.
is that it?
Would imagine big news unlikely to come out on a Friday, unlikely not impossible, so into next week we go!!
GKahn then it will be interesting to see what II's MB is able to attract over the next few months if he is going to be spending his time doing the rounds and presentations, with luck some big purchases might be the result of all that.
Said it a number of times I think the market is waiting for the LOM extension plus whats next? If we are throwing of so much cash what is the plan for it? Dugbe? CORA? Buybacks? What's next? Moving away from a single mine operation will help ensure we don't have all our eggs in one basket.
is reminding me of "One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest"......which one is McMurphy?
