MH 1, I put forward some questions re the agreement with Pacific Trends and Jerryspaniel confirmed the conventional thoughts on the issue, which I thanked him for.

He also said “ MO by the time there has been a formal decision to mine, there will be plenty of instos desperate for shares and only too willing to take them off pac trends hands.”, to which I replied “ I would like to think that an arrangement could be made whereby Newcrest buy all of the Pacific Trends allocation. ;0)”

Jerry is correct in saying we should include the shares to be issued, in our total number of shares so that people don’t start moaning about them later.

Let’s wait and see what occurs, when, not if, a decision to mine is made. Will be interesting to see.

We know Pacific Trends are due to get an additional payment when a decision to mine is made. But who pays?

Do Newcrest have to pay 70% now that they own that percentage?
The Rns states they are due approx 145 million shares in GGP, but was that covered when the original j/v with Newcrest was made?
If Havieron is put into a separate company vehicle,who would be liable?

If GGP is liable for the payment, should Pacific Trends decide to sell the shares, we could see another drag on the SP.

What contingencies have been put in place I wonder?

Trigger, I appreciate your efforts, but I would be surprised if GGP agree to your request.

1. It is Newcrest who are the lead company in the j/v, so doubtful GGP could give you a copy.
2. For commercial reasons, they won’t want anyone being able to extrapolate the data and then publishing it on a bulletin board before they are ready to report on the matter.

I would have been worried if he had exercised the 11.5 million options. This amount is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Possibly, the expiry date may have been coming up on these particular options.

When they drop the price, ordinary pi’s seem to be buying, so difficult for the bigger boys to pick up in quantity.

Are the 100k and 200k sells, someone shorting to keep the price down?

So with an incentive bonus, the decline could get to the ore body a few months earlier. Fingers crossed.

I don’t know whether it was this share’s board or another, but people commented on how the FTSE has hardly moved over the past number of years compared to Wall Street. I put this down to a conflict of interest between the HNW investors in collaboration with the Market makers to short the market wherever they can. In this technological age, we need a better system than what is in place at the moment which is transparent and equal to all. ( Rant over) ;0)

Today’s markets are all about making a quick buck and moving on.
Shaun Day told us today that it would be 2023 when we get to the ore body. I think that maybe one of the reasons we are where we are.
Having said that I do not intend selling any of mine at the moment. Too many news items could catch a few out.

They did release Cadia’s update MRE a few days before their scheduled update. Now they won’t want to release that news going into the weekend would they?
