Wonder if anyone who sold @£49+ will buy back @ around £46 tomorrow ? Was this just a con to stitch up loyal small shareholders and a nice tidy profit for the "boys in the city".
Best return of profit to shareholders ever. £2.5 billion returned to faithfull shareholders those who believed the company has a future and didn't sell and I'm £460 less than I had at the start .

Small shareholders shafted ….... can only hope that when dust settles share price will benefit as it is supposed to by this buyback. Might be a good idea to buy in now for a quick profit if you have bid your shares.
Who pays the dealing cost? I don't approve of the offer but I might tender 1 share at plus 4% take the £45 quid and buy a meal at Butchers Block at my local Premier inn and claim the 10% shareholders discount thus getting 14% back. Hopefully if they have lots of "offers" like this they will realise what a cock up this as it will cost them lots.
Used to be.It was called RHM ............Flour from the mills, salt from saxo, low grade flour to Bisto and Oxo , Hartleys jam to Mr Kippling. Vinegar for bread from Sarsons .ETC
If the amount to be distributed is £2.5 bil and £5bil has been spent on buy backs and £2bil is allocated to the tender offer what is going to be left if you do not take it up?
Think that is about right. have just e mailed matt.johnston @witbread .com asking him to publish a simpler version for small shareholders hope other people will do same.
Surely a company in such a mess as PFD would be better concentrating their resources on creating shareholder value and leave the cutting edge development of products like this to other more stable companies only using this product when fully developed and proven.
He also scored 5.6 million shares for his 6 years at the helm driving the ship onto the rocks. If the new CEO can rescue the company GD is laughing all the way to the bank.
Something odd here. Many brokers stating "Buy" with a target of around £10.50 to £11.00 why is price for take over so low? Was expecting around £9.50 to £10.50.
