Dogger me too paid £'s I now refuse to sell until I get a dividend (sheer bloody mindedness now !!!!!)

Good post Cloudy mountain Denby 69 I think you have to physically sell your rights shares or they just disappear. I got caught in a similar way with Premier Foods where I didn't do anything and they were lost.

I just got £10.46 each for 44 shares I did not take up

Look in the "corporate actions" message they have sent (secure message ) there may be one otherwise phone may be your best bet.

After the cash back shambles am watching them like a hawk (am also learning lots about trading) at the moment will buy with any spare cash and sell the rights of the rest .If they start to go down will set a stop loss at what I paid and get shot without making a loss.

You can't sell until 10th June 8.00am (provided you have paid for them) The stock brokers /traders are trading between themselves trading them "nil paid rights" I assume whoever ends up with them has to pay £15 even if the opening price does not make that.
I may be wrong but that's the way I understand it !!!!!!!!!

Hargreave Lansdown are showing "Nil Paid Rights" on my list of holdings if yours is showing this also you are entitled to buy rights issue .

If you hold them as paper shares and take up the offer then yes I think. that is normal (has been when I last participated in a rights issue)

If the cash from the rights issue is only used to prop up the Balance sheet losses owing to corona virus then the share price will not improve. IMHO. hope this is not the case but it does seem to me that this is being rushed through less than a year after return of cash from Costa sale.

No because the price of the shares will go down. The value of shares is the value of company divided by number of shares. more shares, same company value, lower share price.

Remember this is a company which returned cash to shareholders from sale of Costa less than a year ago if capital was needed for expansion why return cash?

If this is a temporary cash flow problem caused by coronavirus why a rights issue ?Surely a loan based on the property values would be a better short /medium term solution.

Also dividend delayed (cancelledmaybe for the first time in 20years I've been holding) maybe not such a safe pair of hands as was. Need to keep an eye on this now.
