If as you say the Management team are 'fab' ...why have they not uncoiled 'The spring' and let the share-price fly sharply upwards.. Mr Scaife the CEO is leaving .. The FD has been replaced...My betting is on Nicola Massey to kick QP into shape possibly selling under-performing divisions.. focusing on profitability and growth...Biodose should be an amazing asset for QP.. but is poorly marketed and should be attracting global interest.. The 'Fab' team you describe need someone to be both surgical and dynamic to give them a good kick up the backside ...Starting with the Chairman and Non Executive Directors....A streamlined focused management team across QP is needed and quickly !.. The current share price tells all !

I do wonder if the Board of QP really understand the term 'Creating and Delivering' Shareholder Value... I do wonder why QP needs TWO brokers and what exactly either or both are doing to support / grow the share price.. I do wonder why the Invisible Chairman had not in place any form of Succession Planning for his CEO and now has to commence a search to replace Mr Scaife.. I do wonder what the Non Execs of QP contribute to the well-being of QP and the creation of Shareholder Value.. Another set of Invisible Individuals that need replacing.. I wonder if the company knows how to maximise its assets and leverage them to the full.. I wonder why QP needs so many Senior Managers throughout its Divisions / Operating Companies and if they are delivering value why is the shareprice at the price it is ... I wonder why QP are issuing Nil Cost Options to Senior Managers whilst again Shareholders are seeing a poorly performing share price .. I wonder why the Institutional Shareholders have not removed the Chairman and selected Non Performing Non Execs.. I wonder why Biodose has not been spun off to benefit shareholders either through a float to existing shareholders.. or as a sale / licensing arrangement to a larger and more dynamic Pharma .. I wonder why QP have both poor communications capability and poor marketing capability when we have so many highly paid Senior Managers overseeing different parts of the QP empire.. I wonder why the CEO and FD are not substantially more demanding of their Senior Management and ensure that results across QP are delivered sooner rather than later... I wonder...

As an update to my comment on the 5th April... (1) The should seriously be considering Nicola Massey as the new CEO (an In house appointee who has been in the company for best part of 9 months and has brought badly needed expertise in to her division and no doubt will have formed a real insight into how QP should go forward... (2) A new Chairman is needed... Whilst he has wielded the knife on Mr Scaife this was probably down to Instutional pressure and NOT his prowess as Chair.... I suspect after the new CEO is installed he will move on .. (2A) Likewise with the Non Executives...Either they are invisible or near useless.. not sure which... New ones needed with more business experience and more business savvy. (3) Scaife was a deal maker not a Pharma man and therefore not the man to take QP forward.. (4) Marketing at QP is in my opinion an amateurish operation and needs a complete overhaul... Without marketing excellence the release of new products and growth of existing products will not be achieved.. (5) Biodose should be licensed across the world for significant income streams whilst QP controls its roll out across the UK... What are QP waiting for?... Again ..poor marketing. (6) The company should consider buying Mr Scaife's shareholding and holding either as Treasury Shares for later placing with institutions once the price has risen (substantially) (7) With the CEO now destined to leave sooner rather than later... a predator may surface to pounce whilst the leadership of the company is under review... 5 Apr '16 If the Invisible Chairman can find the time to do a decent job at QP... Which I think is pretty doubtful.. He should address the Issue of the current CEO whose performance as recognised by the share price is Woeful... Nicola Massey should be given the role of CEO Immediately and be allowed to use her skill, judgement and experience to refocus QP into the Growth entity it was designed to be... Are the Institutions happy with QP... They will be when Scaife moves or is moved on to pastures new..

Day traders and Shorters...currently have the upper hand.. Look at the AT trades and the unusual high and low amounts traded to get an idea.... This share needs good news to drive it forward...We may need to wait for the AGM to hear it....All the right ingredients' appear in place to make this share a star buy for 2016...But we need good news to both drive the share price forward and also to move the shorters on to another target..

Slater Investments have increased their holding in QP from 2,380,000 to 4,031,468 The future is looking very interesting...

The full year results presentation state that Nupharm will become earnings enhancing in the 2nd half of this financial year.. if the management of QP can recover their ,credibility by under promising and over delivering... Half year results will be the real test.... hopefully lessons have been learned... QP remains a pretty unique share... Bio dose alone could rejuvenate the share price ...Will QP be allowed to remain independent long enough to become the success we all feel it can be... Or will it become a series of parts for others to enjoy...

If we can put the past 12 months down as a steep learning curve for this youngish but dynamic management team.. Then today,s results are very positive indeed. Indeed if they sort out the manufacturing issues. .watch carefully their margins..then the pipeline plus Biodose could really send this share substantially upwards.. With share options for management that need a share price in excess of 100p to have any real benefit. The next 12 months should prove an exciting and rewarding journey.

I could make the case that QP,s share price is being artificially held down by other parties who would benefit through launching a speculative bid at a low price.. Or there are professional minds at work who are intent on shorting the stock...thus encouraging holders to sell and further driving the share price down...then they hoover up those sales to cancel out their Shorts...This is all. Hypothetical..or possibly not !!

When ever a potential rally in the share price commences ... The AT trader steps in with a series of sells.... 4 individual sell trades times at 11:33:41.. Why is somebody trying to keep QP's share price at / around the 59/63 area... ??

At the heart of the issue with this share is 'Confidence' .. The QP Board especially the CEO over promised and under delivered...this has decimated confidence..Whilst all the blame cannot be laid at the door of the Management (zeus who are QP's NOMAD wanted the share offer / introduction to AIM to be a roaring success hence the over promising. The Price to be paid by the Board for the over promising should be an important lesson for the future... Under-promise and over deliver should be their mantra...The CFO paid the price for not getting to grips with the QP pipeline and launches and likewise the Management failed to get to grips with Quality, Manufacturing issues and an understanding of the regulatory hurdles needed to be crossed...Hopefully these have now all been addressed.. The new CFO seems to have a background that suits QP's desire to become a major force in its markets... The CEO needs to held to account by a strong Chairman - which QP does not have (Invisible Man??). Scaife needs to focus on the core business before getting carried away with Mergers and Acquisitions.. When and only when the core business is solid, reliable and growing can he then look further.. If the results are as expected and the 1p final dividend is paid .. we are looking at a yield of about 3% and might be growing year on year depending upon future results...This represents remarkable value in a market dominated by promising shares who could only dream of paying a real dividend in the years ahead.. N+1 Singer recommend QP as a Buy... And QP's Nomad zeus also state the shares are a buy... but their views should be dismissed as likewise any role with QP management both now and in the future.. This company has great potential ...A predator may still be lurking in the background...Biodose should be a real diamond within the QP product portfolio.. but I do not have a lot of faith in the company's Marketing and sales capability.. which should be licencingBiodose if it cannot find the means or resources to successfully market it both UK and globally... The Institutions appear to be backing the company ... Major shareholdings have remained solid. with Legal and General even adding to their holding (500K as at the last RNS).. Major surprises within the results.. hopefully yes ! and all positive I would hope.. Scaife needs to do much more to get Qp back on the growth trail... Nicola Massey should be his first port of call for advice..

I do find this type of RNS (Regarding Legal &General) a little confusing... On the 23rd Nov 2015 Legal & General Group Plc (Direct and Indirect) (Group) (15,201,800,12.16% = Total Position)...The latest updated RNS shows Legal & General Group Plc (Direct and Indirect) (Group) ( 15,701,800 -12.56% = Total Position)... Thus L&G appear to have increased their Total Position by 500,000 shares...Which must reflect L&G faith in the current Management Team, Future Prospects, and the substantial Undervaluation of QP's share Price... If L&G are right with their view... May 10th may actually be very positive for both share price and future prospects.. Let's hope they are correct...

The Board of QP must be listening.. We now have an update on the Major Shareholder Register...As at 29th April 2016... it looks to me that the Institutions still have faith in QP Management... May 10th Results will be telling !!!! A late big sale of over 1 million shares (17.03) making today's total sell's for the day of over 1.6 million.. Is this now the end of the Big sell off and the start of the badly needed recovery in the share price... Who was the seller? more importantly who is the buyer of this significant quantity of QP shares..... The register of major shareholders has STILL not been updated...

I do agree with Share Mag view.... But for example today there have been some really large sells... including one for 250000 and yet the major shareholdings register has not changed since Jan 2016 .. and likewise other large trades (both buys and sells) have not moved the register either... Is somebody accumulating stock on the basis that it s cheap or a potential Take over candidate? Who is selling for this accumulation to take place (as no change in major shareholder register since Jan 2016) Is there still an outstanding order for shares yet to be fulfilled? hence no RNS by the new owner.. or other thoughts? There is a new FD who comes with a golden reputation... has he discovered something and will this become visible on May 10th with the yearly results.. or is he there to keep QP independent and have the rewards of a very successful company.. Time will tell !

Just looked at WELCOME TO NUPHARM LABORATORIES web page... The Latest News has a date of 1st July 2012....... Has Nothing happened to warrant news over the near last 2 years... Do any of the Senior Management Team of any of the Divisions of QP actually look at their own Web Sites and how up to date they are? If they cannot manage their Websites in a timely way... Can they be trusted to manage their company's effectively?

This morning is a classic example of what might be considered share manipulation.. A Sell of 10000 shares at 08:11.22 followed by an AT sell 3 seconds later.. A sell of 15000 shares at 09:21:40 followed by an AT sell 12 seconds later.. Whilst this is only my opinion it appears that somebody is desperate to hold the share price down.. Now why would that be? To build a stake in the Company?, Market Makers fulfilling a large buy order at around the 60 p mark.. or other (Views welcome) This has been happening over a period of time and is keeping the share price within very tight perimeters.. As we approach Final Results Day .(10th May?) it will be interesting to see how both trades and share price develop. I am still not convinced the QP Board are on the ball with watching for potential predators..

it does make me wonder how on the ball the QP Investor Relations Dept are... The last Major Shareholder register update was the 29th January 2016,... We are now in April going on to May.. I cannot believe that there has been NO material changes in Major Shareholdings... especially with the unusual volume trades seen over the last months ... Is there some reason why this has not been updated ? Or is the Leadership of QP including the invisible Chairman holding something back from shareholders... We await the next update of the register to see who has added (if any), who has reduced their holding and importantly any New holdings that have been accumulated over the 3% counter..

In my opinion the Share Price of QP is being manipulated to remain around the 60p mark.. The number of AT Trades today is I think a sign of some some clever slight of hand .. The AT trades all started to appear when the Bid / Offer price went to 61/64...and drove the final closing price down to 59/59.5.. Why? Is someone preparing a Bid? and hence driving the price down to make any offer appear to more attractive? Is someone stake-building and hoping to drive out PI's who are on the edge of selling and this lower price hits a number of stop loss figures.... The run up to the Final results will be interesting.. The CEO should be writing either a very positive summary of the year past and the current year... or perhaps his resignation speech..

Scaife is a deal maker and not really CEO material...The previous FD failed to manage both the integration of the various QP businesses effectively..and was asleep at the wheel with regard to the product pipeline..hence the downgrades on current and future profits. The chairman remains invisible and should also have sacked Scaife rather than allow him to have access to a shed load of options... The pay is ridiculous for their achievements to date... Promises stated when launched on AIM have disappointed...Zeus the NOMAD should have been sacked for poor advice.. The Board will and should be under pressure from the Institutions to justify their excessive salaries.Only a great set of results and a very positive trading statement might save them from being sacked it the Company being taken over.
