Yes, but...there’s no point in procuring equipment if you don’t have a contract for a trial and without said contract you can’t prepare fuel production. We don’t yet have a contract announced so we therefore have to assume that most of that preparation is yet to be done. The contract is the starting gun for everything to follow on from.

These guys slip up eventually and usually because they mix up which login details they’re using at the moment they post. Whilst Morocco is important, the key piece of news we really need from QFI are the contracts between them, MSC and the fuel supplier for the LONO. That’s the moment the LONO trial becomes reality and not before tbh. Remember the first part of the JDA is the feasibility study, which is likely straight forward, but this is QFI after all and nothing is ever straight forward, so we need news of these contracts to set a firm foundation and pathway ahead.

The weather to my mind is an issue around engineering, actually working outside, only thing I can think of.
It depends what facility the fuel is being made. It could be a Bitumina bitumen terminal/refinery so it’s likely an MMU will already be available. Some additional engineering work to produce and store the msar. This is the most likely scenario as far as I can tell.

From memory a full commercial MMU can produce around 1000 tpd so a 60 tonne amount for Morocco should be rather quick.

Agreed Wonga. The key words from QFI are “representative samples”. There’s absolutely no point in Greenfield sending samples which may be inferior to a fully optimised production system, so they won’t.

We’re talking about 16.8m shares to offload, it’s not a lot really given recent volumes. Bergen will no doubt sell so as to prevent the SP sinking, it’s in their obvious interests to do that. So I’d expect more of a drip feed over several weeks and if the SP jumps on news or sentiment they will benefit as well. It’s an obvious negative having a seller but not that significant in my view.

I think it’s questionable at least whether the last £500k loan deal was required. Not convinced by the explanation given but hey-ho it’s done now. Don’t think there’s any doubt that they will sell over the coming few weeks so depending on demand/news it will likely have an effect to some degree but don’t think it will be huge or last for long.
