As there is no suggestion of a rights issue will the shares for trading in HK come just from the sale of CKHH's reduction?

I have just bought in. Pleasing to be ahead after just one day despite the 5% bid-offer spread.

Most impressive and I liked his point on helping the maximum number of patients. China has 30% of the world's cancer patients (with 18.5% of the world's population). Alarming statistic but it does highlight the need for HCM and its oncology drug development and for a good relationship between HCM and the Chinese government which (to judge by his words) they do appear to enjoy.

Good to see HSBC initiating coverage. Despite the fact that HSBC has alienated all and got rid of many of its personal and corporate clients in Hong Kong and Asia it is still regarded with a modicum of respect and one hopes that this will bring in a new raft of buyers. For SS once we pip past the £48 mark every batch of my purchases will be in the black, some of the early purchases by manyfold but I never got in as early as £3; £4 and £5 being my earliest buys.

For the last three months GHH have been looking a bit precarious and with another sharp drop in the SP yesterday we look set for further losses in the coming week, I fear; so it is not yet time to top up although it was reassuring to see Directors buying recently. Does anyone know what might have triggered yesterday's nervousness?

Yes, it's been a disappointing and somewhat depressing end to a year which promised (and at one point had delivered) much. I have not sold a single share (not through any brilliant strategic insight but simply because when there was a chance to sell the price was too low and I was too afraid of missing any rally. Many thanks to you all for your insight and comments and wishing you all a Happy Christmas and good things in the New Year. For those of a superstitious bent (ie the Chinese) next year is the Year of the Earth Pig which apparently augurs well for prosperity so fingers crossed!

Can anyone explain why these two RNS: Savolitinib program update and Amendment to Lilly Agreement on Fruquintinib should have triggered such a steep decline please?

This is somewhat disconcerting although I think the Chinese are intelligent enough not to stab their own home grown pharmas in the back

Full year results tomorrow. Judging by the drop last week I wonder if bad news has been leaked. Hoping for a rebound.

Azurite, I agree with your sentiment and there probably will be some drop back but this break out with considerable volume and a considerable pipeline of news and products seems to be justified and SS for one is not selling...

A little bit shyer now... Seen on the 5 year chart this looks like a correction down to the normal progression and if it drops a bit more I see myself adding HLMA to my portfolio.

I am not a holder but have been waiting for a good price to buy in at and wonder if the recent decline is regarded as a good buying opportunity? I shall await a clear uptick before buying (if I do) as I prefer to buy on an upwards trend rather than trying to catch the bottom (which I rarely achieve).
