Given the current gold price and the all in sustaining costs of this company I don't believe it is likely to fall back over a 12 to 18 month timeframe. I couldn't care about what it does over the next few weeks, if it falls I will buy more. Excellent dividend while you wait. Roman Abramovich won't be selling anytime soon because he thinks gold might fall back a little - which I do not believe is a given.

Not sure, could be a wealthy private investor. What we need is a decent first set of consolidated results and I believe this will propel the share price back over 80-90p. This has great dividend and growth potential. It appears to be taking the right approach to ensuring customers are treated fairly and staying on the right side of the FCA. In a regulated sector like this that is the right side to be on.

Will be interested to see whether we have a new institutional investor on board. This will come good with the next trading update, if not before.

No one can predict when a share might or might not go up 30%. Anyone who says different isn't thinking about it and that includes the Board of Directors. Even if the company performs well (and there are numerous variables there a swell) the global economy could suffer a setback or the market may just not bid the shares up. No one can predict this. All you can make a call on is the long term performance of the company and hope that if this is positive the share price will reflect this.

They have exercised their options and chosen to sell. They all still have substantial holdings I believe. They are just cashing in part of their remuneration. They are already heavily exposed to the financial wellbeing of Petra, they are just managing that exposure. I don't think it is a big negative. People have things to pay for.

This is starting to look very cheap. Significant number of smaller companies have left the sector. The sector now requires scale to deal with compliance burden and associated regulations. Without scale impossible to be profitable. This company is investing where it is needed in order to grow with much reduced competition. It will take a while but this really could be a huge success story.

Don't agree with you entirely - this isn't a get rich on a rumour share. This share is however undervalued on a number of measures at present. The quality of output is high and there are some serious shareholders on board. When I last looked Mr Graff was still a significant shareholder. He knows diamonds. If they get Mothae then the share price will probably go up significantly - I just want to make it clear that I believe this share can and will perform without Mothae as well. I would think Mothae is a realistic proposition and if it happens great. The fact that it is next door gives Gem an operational and potential cost advantage which bodes well, as does the fact that the Government will know Gem and their ability to operate effectively and safely.

Some will profit take at this level but this has a way to go in the short term. In my opinion this might touch £2 in the next week or two, then sideways for a few months. Will be back to £2.50 plus in a year or two. Really pleased to have had the opportunity to buy this at a knockdown price.

I wouldn't say this publication is a tip sheet. Nothing like IC or Shares....bit broader than share tips, plenty of economics and politics too. It is however good to see Sprue get a bit of profile. For the record I don't agree that it's 'gamble of the week'. I think it's a highly successful, we'll run company that suffered a glitch. Most companies have these at some point. They will put this behind them and get bigger and stronger in my opinion. This will be headlining a number of value and dividend screens at this price. There aren't many shares that do this!!

Buys versus sells interesting today...heavy buying but not as much upwards movement as you might expect. I expect this to be £2.50 by the end of 2016.

Lots of short term punts here in the last few weeks...believe a lot of the traders will have sold out today. This will reward over 2 to 3 years at these prices.

Decent overall. Hopefully pricing environment will continue upwards momentum.

You would hope that the supplier has a valid insurance policy in place - products liability insurance. This should cover the supplier against a claim from a customer such as Sprue.....based on the claims they have received or expect to receive.

I couldn't agree with you more. This where you make the real money in most instances. Sometimes companies make mistakes, it's how they address the errors that counts. I recall investing in Supergroup at £4 post such a mistake and in Petra at 58p back in Nov/Dec. I was very pleased with the outcome of both of those Investments. Be greedy when you smell the fear. Sure we could be wrong but nothing is without risk!

Are you suggesting Sprue needs to be acquired or are you suggesting Jarden may like the idea of a bargain? Sprue are cash rich so I don't believe they need to be acquired. I think Jarden might take a look however given the price but who knows.

Once the excitement and fear has passed, providing the company deal with the matter effectively this will be seen for what it is - a blip, albeit a moderate sized blip. In my view this offers a good buying opportunity. It may go cheaper. I have no idea whether that will be the case or not. Either way this will, in my opinion, look very cheap in 2 or 3 years. It depends on your belief in the company and your time horizon.

At this price a screaming buy. A quality company available for a lot less than it was last week. I have dipped in myself. As long as the warranty issue is dealt with to customers satisfaction, then this shouldn't cause a problem long term.
