Also PHE have NOT yet approved ODX antibody test, they will approve it more than likely after the Friday leak, but as things stand it’s not approved and there is NO orders.
I’m in ODX, Colin King CEO is on weekly calls with Government and ODX is part of the UK-RTC, and they are still waiting, the companies who are supplying the government have friends in the right places, or have HUGE capacity such as the big boys. It’s not an easy sell.
The guardian has done an expose where the government has basically approved deals worth hundreds of millions without going to tender.
If NHS comes great, but India is a much bigger market and the USA have sooo much money to throw at testing because their daily cases are spiking considerably that even Trump has started to do daily briefings.
Ask yourself a question would you hedge your bets on the NHS with low numbers of infections right now or to India, USA and Africa where they have bigger infection rates and a greater demand for tests. Or just the USA who have a huge budget for tests which will get bigger and bigger. Previously it was just New York, now it’s the whole of the USA.
