Imagine, if at this time, you were bringing a state of the art very well designed tungsten mine on stream that is in a EU jurisdiction. Imagine you are a local businessman with all the contacts that goes with that and could get in on this opportunity at a price that is far below the value quoted in Broker reports and FID calculations.
Oh no it’s mot imagination, it’s whats happening.

Oldskool, nothing personnel, but it is my sincere hope that you are completely wrong. To be fair though we should have been getting more positive news through by now, even allowing for MM’s predilection for lateness. The more positive side of things is that a lot of what positive posters present is correct I.e. state of the art kit, licences, local support, location etc etc.......and the APt price looks to be recovering. I think it’s also worth mentioning that Wres holds the world record ( as far as I am aware) for the longest current ongoing time taken for a gold JORc analysis and publication.

Is it possible there could be a delay on the publication?
Or could I just be stinking good stuff.?

RNS 9th Sept; ‘W Resources Plc (AIM:WRES), the tungsten, tin and gold mining company announces that it will release its results for the six months to 30 June 2019 on Monday 30 September 2019.’
Do you suppose anyone already knows how that might read?

Mr Happy, in my example I was referring to using funds from Wres to buy into another company as perhaps a reason for some sells. There has been some placing opportunities in other companies that some may have used funds realised from Wres to purchase. I will aim for more clarity in future.

L200, I put to you a hypothetical scenario. Say you have a given amount of your wealth that you put into the market, and that is your playing money, say you put it in a company called Wres and you are actually quite happy with your expectation on that investment, then your broker calls and says I have a placing here at a 20 % discount, you think you can get in and out and make a profit but you have to use your funds from Wres. Would you do it? If you are not worried about being out of Wres for a while because you don’t think it’s going to move for a little bit you would. The second question would be; do you think there are some here that may behave in that way.
If there are some doing that it would create big sells or buys and not really be caused by anything Wres does.

L200 there are indeed some hints that do not add up. There was some big selling going on a while back ( couple of years) that depressed the SP, then when a placing was necessary the offer was at a lower rice because of it. It was certainly the case that it wasn’t known where that was coming from, and by that I mean MM, and the larger share holders that I know of.
The delays and the recent lower apt price explains the negative sentiment that is created. The shares previously issued at low SPs the warrants and the commitments to Blackrock all create a negative force too. We do clearly need production figures to overcome those factors in a substantive way. Personally, I think we will get the production, efficiencies and further news on resource so I hold. Some will sell and some will buy and sometimes for reasons not related to the apt price, production, delay or business performance, it can be personal circumstance. So strange things can be something simple, my daughter will need £ 30 K at some point in the future and I also expect a a windfall of £100 K - if either were to happen today it would have an effect on my holding here. Many strange things to come in all directions imho.

Dreaming of, that’s a reasonable expectation. However, there is doings so there could well be something announced. This rising apt price is most welcome and the fact the placing is at a premium bodes well for the he current SP, albeit if we had production at T2 levels in April we wouldn’t be at this price now. Onwards and upwards should be the next RNS imho, and it could be at anytime. And oh there’s me glod, great big gunnets of it.

Moghwy, As I have said a couple of times the Fanya stockpile was not of. The original quantity, I had seen it quoted as 26K ton instead of the original 30K ton , but now they say 28K ton. From your extract they are now saying the quality is doubtful. The whole Fanya thing was dodgy and I did say there may yet be more information to say that the APT is not all that it seems. Then what is now held will have to be reprocessed and there is a desire to hold it and not seek to sell at current prices. So looking very good on the APT price moving forward.

Is actually rather low at $35 million when you consider other projects getting to this stage. The cost of getting to where we are is a considerable achievement, but the delays are of course dissappointing. However, production should be increasing soon and I look forward to getting some news on that. Looking at this and seeing that delays and overrun on mining projects occurs 90 % of the time. We should be past all that now though. News this week?

Indeed we do have more shares, but with orm I also looked at the amount of money, that was relatively small. Ultimately though, good production figures at la Parilla and an increasing apt price will increase our sp. also a positive gold RNS would be a good thing.

L200, looking at ore the amount of shares bought and sold are in pretty small amounts. Looks like low volume can cause movement. Perhaps most holders are just holding. I took a look just now and it seems lots of deals for a few hundred quid. We actually get bigger trading volume because of larger amounts, or so it seems to me.

Hbob; I expected the APT price to rise following the auction of the Fanya stockpile. As it now appears it was in fact 26K tons and not 30K tons as was being banded about pre auction that takes a fair bit of sting out. Then the whole Fanya thing was not entirely wholesome , I still hold that APt stockpile may not be it seems. With production below levels of demand we should see the apt price rise, and that 4 % today is in line with that theory.

They were once saying that Fanya had 30K tons of apt. When the auction happened it turned out it was 26K tons. So whatever was built into calculations was overstated by 15% at that time. Then given Fanya,from what I understand, was not very pukka and more of a ponzu scheme , when they go into weighing it and doing some quality checks it could be even less. Just my opinion, of course. If my view is correct there could be some rises in apt just on that.

1. You have previously stated that it was your view that there was no point in discourse with me.
2. You have now addressed me personally, when I have not referred to you, not have asked to discuss anything with you.
3. In an earlier post you quoted how many times I had commented on a conversation stream. That requires research and making record etc. That is , too me perverse. I have no idea how many of anything I have posted or anyone else.
4. Please put effort into not mentioning me and particularly into understanding that I would not in anyway want to discuss anything with you.

The SP rise is due to the fact I was gonna get some more, but due to having to be at work cant move me money to do it.
Troajan I have done me best to keep the euro zone going by buying German cars, but I can only do so much.
