As there are a large number of FDA approved kinase inhibitors for various indications, their repurposing for viral infections is an attractive and time-sparing strategy. Many kinase inhibitors, including baricitinib, ruxolitinib, imatinib, tofacitinib, pacritinib, zanubrutinib, and ibrutinib, are under clinical investigation for COVID-19. Herein, we discuss FDA approved kinase inhibitors, along with a repertoire of clinical/preclinical stage kinase inhibitors that possess antiviral activity or are useful in the management of viral infections.

Below from a naysayer, am sure even Potnak could have made a better attempt at trying to undermine kinase inhibitors.⁷
'Tyrosine kinase 2 (TYK2) and Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors are not commonly used because of the potential side effects and risks associated with them.'
No mention of course of the numerous compounds already approved.
No mention ofthe upfront payment of 4 billion dollars paid for a Tyk2 kinase inhibitor.
Come on wolfies mate, you must try much harder, you really are out of your depth sonny.
