Spot on there Rocky. 270 million over 16.5 hrs trading is a lot to dump into a system. Just happen to coincide with a high of 7p and the vaccines. They have played a blinder. It would have been nice to know in advance via RNS, If this had happened the price would have dropped on this news so they have been a little crafty and just kept dumping, waiting to settle then dump some more. Not a few now and then but 20% of a company's shares. Sooner they are gone completely the better.

It should make the SP a little less volatile and worth while jumping into at this current price.

That would explain the circa 250 million shares that were not shown on the LSE. They would all be black as opposed to red/blue.
It would also explain as on the slightest of increases it proceeded to fall back as more shares been pushed into the market. Very showing of a large holder dumping shares.

There will not be enough vaccine available until at least middle of next year. How effective is the vaccine exactly? Do they administer the vaccine then subject those that are vaccinated to the Corona virus? That would be the only to see just how effective the vaccine is. How long is the vaccine effective for?

Covid is not going away this year or next year. If fortunate it will be well under control sufficient for us to continue our lives without too much upheaval.

The corona virus may mutate to a deadlier strain but this is rare in viruses. For the time being masks will continued to be worn until such times as new infections drop to nigh zero, the vaccine proves effective with no side effects and everyone in the country has been vaccinated or has antibodies.
it will be closer to a year at the very least from now before that is realised. As a matter of precaution, masks of this type will be used by the Health service with sufficient stocks to cope with a similar pandemic. look at circa 100million plus minimum.
If the vaccine is 95% effective that still leaves 5% of the population ie 3.5 million people. That is around double the amount of cases detected since the outbreak.

Further more are these vaccinations suitable for small children ie babies and people who have underlying conditions as well as people in their old age. The problem with the corona virus is it can create a cytokine storm. Have the new vaccines been tested so as not to produce this?

I feel the reality the markets have over reacted to uncertainty of these masks being in demand for a considerable period of time. We can look at market cap as a better indication than SP. The market cap will be justified on current production and future production and annual turnover/profit. There is not much turnover at the moment, but the potential is there. Until orders are confirmed and orders are met this SP will not be climbing much above where it is now.

We are at the worst time of year for a virus to spread, as really is the ideal condition for a virus to thrive.

I don't think you will find they will be wearing a mask for 24hrs. On a three shift system that would make nigh 30 million a week. Yes there are other masks but not likely to be effective.
There will be a massive demand and news needs to flow on contracts and production rates.

Limit the spread is the intention of the mask. Unless you have a specific fit test for a mask it is not 100% efficient. On full face respirators protection factor is 2000 ie 99.98 efficient. However, there is no reason why a P5 filter fitted to a full face respirator whether powered or not could have the additional P2f filter supplied to it. I would hazard a guess that this may already be in progress.
100% protection could only be achieved with breathing apparatus or an air fed suit. of course the air supplied would have to be Chinese flu free.

Slightly off topic here, but yes the Chinese love to copy. I bought a Weller soldering iron station a few weeks back, Fairly old but with virtually no usage, The previous owner had bought it to do one job.
I paid just over 220 pounds including postage. On fleabay they advertise a Weller iron. it shows everything right down to the paperwork claiming authenticity.
When you look right down the bottom, it says made in China. Under manufacturer it said generic. Price of iron 47 pounds.
So be very aware of Chinese fake goods. Unfortunately the Chinese flu is not fake and will last a site longer than most of the other rubbish the Chinese make.

There are more buys shown than sells that is true! But there have been close to 280 million trades. Very difficult to determine if buys or sells as at mid price. The SP here needs to settle down for a while. Too much volatility unless you like to live on the wild side of things.

Masks are not reused as a matter of procedure in many establishments. Hospitals run 24hrs a day too. The risk of cross contamination/infection is just not worth it.
Clearly here the potential benefit to the health and emergency services have not been fully realised. News, is now required with regards to meeting the demand and orders being filled.

Nothing ever moves up in a straight line.
There are over 20k reported cases a day in the UK alone of the Chinese flu. That will equate to 600k over a month. Admissions to hospitals will increase and this puts our valuable health service personnel at risk.

As I pointed out to you Terytibbs you lack of experience clearly shows. As for me being a sarcastic idiot, well that is your opinion. I have offered you good advice on this occasion as well as previous occasions. You really need to learn from people. You need to have a degree of respect for people that know a little more than you do.
We all have bad days, but best not to take it out on others.

The selling of 40million shares is bound to have an impact. Once these are absorbed into the system then it will rise, It will take a few days followed by positive news to see it climb to new highs.

Terrytibbs your lack of investing clearly shows. All Aim shares will spike from time to time. Understand the share before you invest. Both shares have huge potential. Look at a share, understand and buy on the dips. If you choose sell some at a profit.

It can be somewhat annoying when we are up and then very much down with price swings which is rife in AIM. Look at why you invested in the first place.
Masks will be required for the next 18 months at least. These masks offer far greater benefits and will significantly reduce the risk of cross contamination. A vaccine is not the be all and end all of this virus.
A multi pronged approach is required. Vaccine to aid prevention, masks to limit spread of contamination and finally a treatment for those that become very ill.
A question here for the vaccine cheer mongers is ' What happens when this virus or a similar virus has evolved and the current vaccine is of no use ?'
vast stocks of masks will need to be held in case of pandemic. You would be looking at 100 million at least. Now many people blamed the government for the NHS not having enough masks. That is not going to happen again.
We now have rapid rises all over Europe of the Chinese flu.
Masks of this calibre will be very much in demand. If people think that a vaccine is the be all and end all, they are very much mistaken and their ignorance is shown when they post deramping rubbish to that effect. If they claim not to be ignorant but a fountain of knowledge and wisdom then ask them, what is it they hope to achieve by writing such unsubstantiated rubbish.
Shares go up but not always in a straight line. Then we have market sentiment.

A lot of the problem is caused by the rapid influx of day traders that have appeared on chat boards since the start of the lockdowns. The pump and dump brigade and those who have a chip on their shoulder due to loosing money as they do not understand when to buy and when to sell. We all make mistakes. It is not the fault of the share itself or the company.
This share will pick up when production starts and orders get completed. Until then it will be a bit of a roller coaster.

You could look at other aspects of the filter use as in air filtration systems. Would not take much to produce for aircraft. Air conditioning systems.

Elcap, I think will have difficulty in meeting demand. The Corona Virus is not going away anytime soon.
