O: did you get into GGP? I kept putting off my top up, expecting it to fall somewhat, then begrudged paying just under 9....I'll have a go on monday and probably pay 9.5p Ha.

Doh, sold my 2nd tranche of PLUS at 1251, good profit but missed the subsequent 20p+ spike for the second time today. I wonder if there is a company called MINUS? Oh yes, that's right, they renamed it DGE! Have a good reddish liquid weekend Brigadiers. Hope you all did OK.

V: I was stupid, away from the screen when MCRO started to fall, should have had a limit sell to catch it, doh!
Yes, think I have given up expecting a free lunch on DGE for this week!

V: yes, I woulkd settle for 20p profit on DGE at the moment. Made a mess of selling MCRO too early, thankfull it was just one tranche. Trying to sell LLOY at 30.3 but keep missing it.

V: yes with DGE I am tempted to just set a limit sale at breakeven and forget them, it keeps getting to about 3 and 6 pence profit for me but I am greedy, maybe 4 bob woyld do it!
Just sold MCRO at 367.5 bought earlier. Not quite a t line indication to sell, but wanted to book some profit. I still have some bought at 454.
I am out of OCDO at the moment too having sold earlier at 1608, for a profit but not much of one.
Currently thinking of selling LLOY having bought at 29.6 in the dip this morning (not proud of that price should have been 29.5 or 29.4x). Doh. My excuse is that I am in and out building shed. I can announce it is waterproof now so can slow down a bit.

O: GGP should make at least 10p (some say 11p) on release of the information on 30 April, that's what I am counting on. Their joint venture with Newcrest to actually produce gold is a good sign, Think NC have taken a 30% holding in the Haverion plot which is the one to be reported on on 30 April. Test drillings have produced "outstanding" results so far. Think this new set of data is to determine the broader extent of the find. There is an expectation/hope that NC might bid for the other 70%. Also, GGP have 4 or 5 other prospects in AZ and Tasmania that are producing good tewst results. GGP is an explorer rather than a producer hence tie up with NC. NC are probably the biggest miner in AZ and are getting short of realisable prospects. Satellite images show lots of increasing activity at the Haverion site. A plus is that price of gold is expected to increase greatly due to world economic malaise.
I think a good 15% gain short term and much much more in a few months. I will buy more this afternoon as I expect some profit taking due to rises this last week. GL
V: Just bought MCRO at 356

V: Bought OCDO at 1571 but was nervous I bought too early. Tried to buy more GGP, dithered, then they got away from me. DGE giving me cause for concern, just can't get a handle on them at all. MCRO signals were sell at 377 but I held, whoops.

Bad day for me.... Having sold out of TLW the other day, today they were up over 50% at one point and ended the day a mere 29% up. Ha. Sold OCDO at 1608 on T line instructions! but haven't bought back in yet. I bought MCRO at 379 but ignored the indication to sell at just a couple of pence higher. My main focus was on my shed construction which has slowed rather. I couldn't resist the opportunity of day trading NYCT and made a complete hash of it and ended up buying back my shares for more than the sale price....it ain't supposed to work like that is it?
Watched PLUS do rather well but (naturally) I took too early a profit. My only star today is GGP, oh and sng.
DGE are having a nice steady run up and I am hopeful, V, that I might sell them tomorrow for a small profit.

O: a few years ago when I had to do stuff for my father after he had a stroke, came across "Wiltshire Farm Foods" which home delivers frozen/cook chill meals, mainly to OAPs handicapped, stay at homes. (please be gentle with me brigade, this is not really a competitor to OCado although in a small subset, it is). It was a life saver for my dad and took a heck of a load off me. I keep meaning to research them or similar firms. Saw an advert in Saturday times magazine recently for Vacuum sealed meals (6 month shelf life!!), delivered in packs of 10. These seem like growth areas to me as more people get older etc, plus of course, in theses lockdown times..... Must get down to doing some research sometime.

O: well MKS have got the food halls, a goodish reputation and the OCDO deal. On the negative side they always seem to be behind the curve fashion wise, they had a bad roll out of their web site I remember but maybe they have improved that now. I guess on balance I am glad I am out.
GGP just traded at their all time high so I have sold some that I bought in the tree shakes these last couple of days. Only a week now till the 30th and their make or break report.

V: yes, sold MCRO at 393.5 and now I have taken a profit today!

V: I am just about at breakeven on DGE but woyld like a profit of course. MCRO, yup, a profit is a profit, haven't taken one today yet but may sell MCRO or even OCDO if they go up another couple or three pence.

O: I remeber years ago where we lived in Surrey, the town appealing in the local paper for MKS to open in our town. They kept saying no because they "always" bought property rather than rent it. Different philosophy then, mind you I'm talking 40 years ago. I guess they have since sold most/all their property and rent it back. Sad to see them decline...they certainly are seen as a national institution and have always been popular with private investors. I hope their time will come again.

O: I'm surprised at MKS downtrend, nearly said fall there! Looking at a few charts, I can't see where it will stop falling. I guess we need some good news from the "unlockdown" dept of the gov.
V: Nice gains on DGE this morning, have to say that I will be happy to be out of them even at breakeven. I'm not patient enough to wait for them to shine.

V: I read the signs and bought back into MCRO at 382 which immediately starts to look to expensive!

V: well I have joined you now, I have just sold OCDO at 1638 and am delighted. I think they will retrace but not by much then have another go at an all time high. (I had better CREDIT T with saying first that the lows were getting higher as the highs were getting higher or I will be on a charge again)

V: At what price did you sell OCDO if you don't mind me asking? I am using mostly 10 min chart and looking at 2min chart for micro changes. I might settle into using 15 or 5 min charts wthich would have the effect of tuning how often I traded. Trying to get some traction on the ema 34 that L suggested. But quite a nice little profit series could be had today by buying or selling when the ema 3 crosses the ema 8, don't know why though, ha!

O: Masochist! well you have to be to try day trading!! I honestly thought about having a punt at Mks this morning at 93 something but I was too busy. I don't think you will do badly but you might need 2 or 3 days to get a couple or three percent...I have read the T (line) leaves!

V: you did well coming out of OCDO I think. Indicators say sell at the moment, Idiot that I am I am holding even though we are testing an all time high.

V: OCDO changing quickly and I might have said oversold when I meant overbought....sorry.
